Wonder why 343i isnt listening?

Hey guys,

I see a whole bunch of threads still saying stuff like “343i why dont you listen to us?”

Why dont theyl listen to us? Its because really, its hard to read anything on here anymore. So many threads start out with “This is the only way for halo to survive.”

These are all just opinions based on one persons veiw of the game. Now thats all well and good, people are entitled to their own opinions and i respect that, the problem is the wording. So many replies to these style of threads are flames. There is so little constructiveness in these threads its just hard to read them. So many people start out with an instant flame that its hard to take anything that they say after that seriously.

You have to respect your fellow forum members guys. Dont go and call someone and “Idiot” “Casual” or “Noob” simply becasue they disagree with you. That just doesnt work guys. The moment you do that, your words lose all credibility because you show you cant respect someone else opinion. I disagree with people on these forums on a fairly regular basis, but i dont flame them on their opinion. It just leaves it so that almost no one will take what you say seriously.

If you want 343i to listen, dont start your post with “Halo 4 sucks” or “This is the only way to save it.”

Thats all well and good, but remember that these ideas are generated around your opinion and not the community as a whole.

Dont flame the company. Dont make posts like the ones listed above. These types of posts where you start out with a flame dont go out well. Becasue when you start out with a flame, then people, especailly the company it is directed towards, become a wall. Even if you have some good reasons on how the game could be improved, 343i is less likely to take you seriously because or how you started out. They will become a wall to your ideas.

Post your items in a nice dignified manner. B constructive. Dont just say this is great, or this sucks. Actually post reasons why you say this. No one will take you seriously otherwise.

This is why 343i doesnt listen to us. Becasue there is almost nothing dignified to listen too. But with a little effort and some constructive writing and critisism, i am sure that the posts may be read, or at least somewhat awkcnoleded.

Please read my suggestions and take them to heart,

Agreed. I am not liking the mood in the forums. Everybody is flaming and cursing around for nothing. Just because we are all in the web and we don’t see each other, it means we have to be disrespectful…

Also we have to create on BIG TOPIC all together somehow, not millions of small Topics. IF we want to change something for Halo 4 we have to step together and give 343i one BIG idea what to change and what not.

Exactly. The problem however, with creating one big topic is that no one would get along. Sure some have managed (Elite Community) but the problem is people dont like eachother. The moment one disagrees with the other its and instant flame fest.

But your right. These little threads with great ideas die in hours. Thta snot enough for the people to actually see them. If we want to change something, we have to work toghether.

I am probably going to get in trouble for this, but i am bumping this because its getting burried quickly… SOrry guys i just think more poeple should see this thread. I just want people to realise that they way they are going about things is the reason 343 probably isnt listening to us.

Yes, and i also am getting annoyed at how people are judging it with only 20 seconds
of gameplay and some other information. YOU DONT KNOW HOW THE GAME PLAYS YET

Also people tend to look at the bad side of things, they always think negative, only
like 5% of reach is bad, and people wont look at the 95% thats ok or good.

Yeah, i remember the thread “letter from the competitive community” but i disagreed with
that post.

I didnt disagree with all of it (They stole that “a letter from” idea from me lol) but when i did disagree i got flamed so bad. Theyt didnt really allow for much discussion. I did get a few good coversations in there though, and they did have good reasons.

I agree

The only problem with Reach is the one miss five kills fuel-rod gun on the rapidly-flipping-in-every-direction-banshee.

yeah, that thing was extremely OP.

First of all, I highly doubt anyone from 343 reads these forums. Even if they did, why would they care about this small minority? They have millions of CoD fans to sell their game to out there.

Well, let’s see. Take Halo 3/Reach, and make everybody able to sprint. Pressing X instantly respawns you. People drop in/drop out at any time. Random weapons are dropping in everywhere. You select a -Yoink- loadout of your favorite game-breaking armor abilities and weapons.

I know exactly how the game plays: Like a piece of -Yoink-.

Everyone is made now because after months and months of us telling them what we wanted they ignored us. Not the noobs, not the casuals, not the MLG guys, not the competitive, EVERYONE. They ignored everyone.

You just made it sound crazy. Let me ask you have you played Halo 4 yet?

If so then you opinion must be the most important out of anyones.

But 1 thing i do agree with you on is instant respawn times, YUCK!
