Has this happened to anyone else? I just stopped playing after that, no better motivation to play well if even then you get ranked down!
Yes actually in multi team my buddy and I won and we went from 10 to 9.

Yeah, I was 19-4 in BTB, 2nd place, team won, and went down 2 CSRs. I was sure it wasn’t a refresh from a previous game as I stopped playing after. Lame.
Played a game of multi-team, me and my buddy finished 3rd in Oddball on Complex (terrible map and gamemode for multi-team by the way). After finishing third with a negative K/D I went from a 10 to a 13. I stopped playing for the night. The next day played my first game of multi-team, went 44-25 in KoTH and won. I went from a 13-12.

I played last night getting 30 kills and 11 deaths and lost by 15. Great match up! Not!
Yeah happened to me as well. Think of it as your CSR converging to a point, but it does this by going up and down. Because in the first few matches the ranked is still unstable, it can go down even if you win. It just means that you played less well than previous games. It also means that this “CSR change randomness” will go away sooner or later.
Yup, it’s kinda dumb, this system is broken. Like if ending a match at top with positive kd and 20+ kills isn’t enough to go up, but instead go -Yoinking!- down. Seriously 343, fix your -Yoink- system or just remove it at all.

From what I’ve heard, the system may lag by a game. So, if you lost, and went down, it may be from the previous game, and not the game you just completed.
