Agreed and I do the same with limited time to play as well. Don’t think I’ll complete weeklies today though. Thought I had time, but forgot there was an ultimate challenge at the end. Good luck to me winning 17 games tonight. At least I’m not missing much with the reward this week.
I got the worst RNG, spent my Saturday night and Sunday morning getting 3 fusion coils cause only 1 Quickplay map has them, and 10 stalker rifle kills, only 2 Quickplay maps have a 50/50 chance of it soawning or the shock rifle lol by time I completed I was only had time for 7 matches and was able to get 6/17 wins
I never find the commando worth picking up, except as a back up to my BR in ranked. Grenades are annoying at times, but have always been so vital to Halo gameplay
I use a challenge swap on every BTB specific challenge.
My true Halo fireteam is all back together for the first time in 10 years. So yea, I’m having a ton of fun making huge plays in Big Team, and grinding ranked
.
I think MS’s emphasis on cross play is really nice from this regard. I’m on a Series X, one buddy is on PC, and one buddy is on an Original Xbox One. Us gaming together again wouldn’t be possible without Infinite being available everywhere
Just like the good ole days! Can’t agree enough. All my buddies transitioned to PC and I’m still on Xbox
Yeah, Quickplay is fun but it’s become THE place to get graped in the face.
The first time EVER, I’ve played a game, and you can’t make an argument I’m bad at the game.
I think the gameplay and core of the game is great. Was having a ton of fun the first week, then the two playlists and small map pool started getting really really old.
I try not to play ranked to much because I want to just play casually and mess around but I don’t want to ruin games for other people when I want to mess around but I prefer BR starts so quickplay isn’t really cutting it for me.
BTB would be a lot more fun if there were more than 3 maps and if I maybe got BTB snipers or BR Slayer in the mix.
Overall, as it stands right now, I’m burnt out of what little Infinite currently has to offer. It’s pretty sad because I feel like a lot of players feel this way. And what’s really sad about it is, all these new PC players that have never played a Halo are going to come in, play for a couple weeks, then move on because they will likely also get bored of the same few game modes and maps available.
Hope that doesn’t happen be side I want infinite to have a healthy population, but steam has already lost a good chunk of players.
The commando is brilliant when it works. They just need to fine tune the recoil and bloom of it when full autoing it. I know grenades are an essential part of halo, trust me I love nothing more then getting a good sticky kill. My issue is when you can carry 4 grenades and you run into 3 enemy players it just becomes a mess of grenade spam especially if you or they are in a small room.
Honestly the grenades are probably the only tactical element of the game that 343 hasn’t eliminated or reduced greatly.
Bouncing grenades off of walls to go around corners and get at the opposing team when they’re too close together has always been a fun feature of Halo.
I suppose this is the point at which I’ll say that the old radar should come back. Radar and the ability to read it and make split second tactical decisions was another fun element of the game that made Halo different than “run n’ gun” games. I feel like if the pros want to play no radar games go for it. Let the rest of us have the old radar.
Yes and no, having a horrible time when teammates doesn’t do what they should.
Gameplay wise though I love it.
I was, but now that I’m getting more settled into the game I dislike the random game types very much as I am now used to the systems and how to play the game.
Slayer is the primary reason why I liked Halo 1, 2, 3 in the past (I never played Reach, or 4 and only 5’s MP very briefly). Not having it be an option is starting to wear on me.
Especially with the challenge system. Like it shouldn’t take 3 days to win 3 CTF matches because the game doesn’t want to give me CTF. And sometimes I’m just not in the mood to play objectives at allllllllll.
Yes, I’ve been loving the gameplay. Win or Lose, get destroyed in a game or be the destroyer, it’s so much fun. I’m glad halo is back and hope these issues get adjusted.
Yeah, I feel the same way about the grenades. I think they need to reduce the time in between grenade throws. Right now you can throw all your grenades back to back with very little time in between each. Other halos have had a pretty significant cooldown between each throw.
Honestly, no. There are occasional fun moment to moment things that happen in matches, but the lack of ability to choose what I’m playing and the lack of maps is starting to get old already, and the game technically isn’t even out yet
Having a genuine good time so far. Not playing as much as I’d hope I will admit, but I am enjoying what I am playing.
I don’t really play nearly as much as I used to when it comes to games. I want to be far more focused on drawing digital art instead. Even to the point of wasting time making a custom emblem for this game, that will never be used due to legal reasons lol.
I’m having so much fun!! I wasn’t into Halo and didn’t really have friends to play with when the older games were popular so this is my first time getting into multiplayer. :’) (I played the campaigns thru with my partner but we didn’t have Xbox live or anything to play MP) overall the gameplay is fun aside from the other issues we’ve beaten to death on this forum lol
I’ve been having an incredible time. Sure I’ve mainly been in bot bootcamp since pvp is infuriating a lot of the time, but it is so much fun and I love the feel of the game.
Yes. If I wasn’t, I’d be playing MCC/Guardians.
