… I’d love to see some more brute style reqs.
Considering it is a Wargames simulation, and now the covenant are almost a thing of the past, I feel that the UNSC Would probably start training their Spartans for what remains, such as Kig-Yar pirates, and more importantly (Especially if the banished haven’t revealed themselves to the UNSC) Brute hunting parties.
Personally, I’m a massive fan of the Jiralhanae, as well as their equipment, and I was ecstatic to learn of the release of the brute plasma rifle (Even if it was ultimately a glorified plasma pistol) and i’d love to see more.
For example:
- The Spiker and it’s variants, Due to the nature of this weapon, it would be opposite to the Plasma rifle, mulching flesh and bone, but bouncing off armour and shields. - Brute chopper, This one would be difficult to implement due to have fast halo 5 is, it would make a fantastic hit and run vehicle (Maybe a legendary variant with the abilitiy to splatter or flattern smaller, less armoured vehicles) - The prowler, Finally we will have a vehicle with more than 3 seats, for those of us that play a lot of warzone, you’ll know how effective it is to be able to drop a couple of Spartans off at an undefended base, and now you’d actually be able to maintain the threat from the gunner. (An interesting variant would be one that shields it’s side passengers from harm, of course, not for ever) also a key advantage of the Prowler is its stability: one can throw it almost recklessly over jumps and cliffs that would be unsafe, unfeasible, or downright stupid in a warthog or ghost. - And finally, the sometimes overlooked “mauler”, back in halo 3 this handshotgun was a monster, and still could be in halo 5 (I’d suggest less damage, but higher fire rate, maybe a semi auto with two shot kill capabilities, so it can’t out perform a shotgun, but will an automatic)
Got anymore interesting additions you’d like to see in halo 5? i’d love to see them in the comments.

Not related to HW2, but I’d love to have these.
Maybe 343 could add the flamethrower, as the Spirit of Fire does have those Hellbringer flamethrower troops?

A flamethrower would be interesting, especially such as portable one like the Hellbringers, although it would be interesting to see the effect it has on Prometheans.
Considering they don’t feel pain or fear, I’d hate to see a half melted, angry, flaming soldier teleporting towards me.
Maybe some kind of blinding effect? the intense heat and light overloading their sensors or something?

Do you know what “metal” that Prometheans are made of?
Maybe the heat could critically damage the “red stuff” that’s under their armour?
The redstuff is essentially hard light, not entirely sure what the composition of the alloy armour is though.
although, if it can be pieced by a Spartan’s knife, I’m sure it can be super heated, and if I can’t, well I’m sure a flamethrower can be repurposed into a bludgeon.

omg i hate the new halos so much, i wish bungie can come back so it can appeal to the masses again like call of duty.
The Spiker feels like a reskinned Plasma Rifle with a knife on it. Basically the upgraded Brute Plasma Rifle we have right now.
The Mauler couldn’t kill anyone with one hit unless Dual Wielded. It’s a Shotgun that basically relies on Melee.
