Hello. I hadn’t been able to play much after the patch when the ranks got reset until yesterday and today. I was previously diamond in slayer and now after finishing my placements 6-4 (2 loses due to quitters) I ended up at platinum 2. Same with Swat, last time I was Onyx close to 1600 and finished my placements 8-2 with an 8 win streak and was ranked also at platinum 2. I consider myself a good swat player and I was really disappointed in the rank I got. Is it that now platinum is better, or what happened?
You may have won all of your games, but you were probably playing with other Plat players. The ranks are the same, but they’re not as inflated anymore. So its Silver>Gold>Plat>Diamond>Onyx>Champ. FFA, and SWAT were very inflated.
I was Champion in SWAT before the update. I won 9/10 in the qualifiers and was placed at Platinum 1. Now I’m back in Champion but it was a grind especially since I play random in most of my matches.
