With the Arbiter coming back.....

Who else should 343i re-introduce not only into the canon, but in the campaigns of future Halo games? I would love to see the squad of ODSTs from ODST. I mean, it could make sense to have these characters re appear, and not just shoehorn them in for the sake of having them show up. The way I’m thinking that they could come back is via the Spartan IV program. Now, the UNSC are pretty much taking any willing person on board, right? Now in terms of capability, ODSTs are easily the next best thing to Spartans, so the level of training is already there. Whats to say that Buck, Romeo etc didn’t sign up? Palmer was an ODST, and it seemed that induction process wasn’t too hard.

And with Buck being one of the best ODSTs of all time, maybe he’s looked up to by others? He could even have ties to, or even personally know Agent Locke, as he was also an ODST. Maybe they could return through that avenue? Who knows. I’m just speculating.

Who would you guys like to see return in either Halo 5 or any other future title?

Captain Keyes

> Captain Keyes

Okay, we’ll just dump this pile of charred, blackened necrotic flesh here. I’m sure you two will have a lot to talk about.

Jun. It’s time he explained himself.

stacker in game would be pretty cool.

Since you asked,

Cortana.

Fine then if you are going to be that way I’d rather have Miranda Keyes.

Johnson. He’s enough badass to spit the grim reaper in the face & walk out of hell just because he wants to.

Corporal Harland from The Fall of Reach. The Marine served with Chief during the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV and even asked Chief how one can join the Spartans. Haven’t seen him and I’d love for him to be a Spartan-IV now.

Gray Team if they end up appearing during the Floods resurgence?

Beamish.

Spartan IV Beamish with a Gravity Spacemop.

> Jun. It’s time he explained himself.

He did in the Initiation comics. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie (very Agent 47) and was recruiting Spartan IVs.

Reach — Recruitment of S-IVs

Quite the gap in time.

I meant how did he escape from Reach, and what did he do after?

343 might introduce cortana,back unlikely

Lord Hood.
ODST squad.
Shipmaster.

Oh … sorry.

Well, since he appeared as an adult at Corbulo Military Academy in 2525, I’d say he’s probably too old to be a Spartan IV in H5G.
Maybe Admiral Beamish?..

Personally, I second DecepticonCobra’s opinion. I really hope Harland reappears soon, and that he interacts with the Chief and isn’t killed. That last part is the most important.

“Buck. If he were any better, he’d be a Spartan…”

Wait…the Spartan IV’s…hey that actually might work!

Well, nothing too nerdy from the “expanded universe” that only people with a lot of time on their hands have time to read. Let’s bring someone back from original canon, aka the games themselves.

So, how about John Forge?
