You’re honestly expecting an advanced level of creativity and relevance from 343i at this point? I’m pretty sure they’ve done nothing but disappoint, time after time, after time.
It will have a faster rate of fire, improved armor and more rockets per ‘forerunner rocket barrage’ (Predicted). That’s all that’s different… aside from the reskin.

They have a number of air vehicles… including the UH-144 Whatchamacallit… the SkyHawk, Sparrowhawk, Hornet, Pelican, and Vultures.
Any one of those vehicles could’ve been added.

Sangheili for Machinima. UNSC Air Vehicle for machinima. Those two things are the main reason why we don’t have machinima for Halo 5. No filebrowser in game. Can’t enjoy it. Sorry. Already max unlocked and SR 108.

- They played no one. Everyone hyped themselves over something that it clearly wasn’t. I can remember a specific thread (posted in the spoiler below) that proved it was a Phaeton.

Never in the history of a Halo game have they introduced a new vehicle after launch. Halo 5 is the only Halo to introduce a new weapon that wasn’t in vanilla (being the Gravity Hammer).
Now, I may hear the arguments about the SPNKR rocket launcher, and the Halo CE Pistol, but they are essentially skins on top of the Rocket Launcher and Pistol models respectively. They didn’t add a new weapon, they created another variant.
I’m not saying it’s impossible to make a new vehicle in the game. What I’m saying is that it would require new animations for the Spartans to be in all the different positions of the vehicle. The animations to enter and exit. The animations to Skyjack. Plus all the balancing that the vehicle itself would have to go through just to make it into the game.
It’s a lot of work! Not saying that 343i isn’t capable of doing that work, but seeing how much they left out of Halo 5 at launch (Big Team Battle, Forge, Grifball, proper Post Game Reports, etc) I just find it hard to believe 343i would include a brand new vehicle.
Am I disappointed that it’s not a Falcon. No, because I never expected it to be one in the first place. If it were, I would have been pleasantly surprised by 343i. However, I’m still waiting for that day.

Since it’s so hard for you to read between the lines, allow me to clarify what I meant specifically. I mean, it’s my fault to begin with that I wasn’t specific.
When I say we have no UNSC Air Vehicle, I mean in a driveable sense. We could get another driveable pelican but it’s too big and durable… and has no guns.
