Now seems like a good time to remove the armor lock.
Trust me when I say this.
If you hate armor lock in matchmaking (we pretty much all do), you ain’t seeing nothing. Today me and a bunch of friends played slayer in custom games with infinite armor abilities and then a bunch of noobs select armor lock and when they are about to die they go in armor lock for literally 5 minutes. I hated it, I hated it, I hated it. We eventually restarted the game removing armor lock from load outs but still screw armor lock

It’s pointless to have it removed this long after the game was released. I’m not saying go ahead and like it. No, instead I’m saying accept it’s in the game for good but exploit the flaws that come with Armor Lock and those who dare to use it.
The best thing to do is utterly decimate your enemies who use it, Like no joke, win the match and every time you kill them after they come out of their hiding armor lock shoot their dead body. Nothing is more satisfying than beating a team of armor lockers who hide behind invincibility to avoid the inevitable 1 shot to their face by a DMR. Make them pay for using such an awful ability. If you can’t make players stop using it, make them realize it’s not the winning formula to survive battles or escape death they deserve.
It’s all moot though in the end. The more they use it the worse they will be for games like MC Collection where they can no longer press a button to avoid whats coming. They are only hurting themselves by using it so don’t feel too bad about Armory Lock ability. In the long run it’s not here to stay thankfully.
