Unless 343 is still finishing Cortana, I must say that she looks almost too solid for an AI projection and too solid for what we have been used too. Where’s the flickering blue lights? the see-through form? and why do her -Yoink!- and thighs look so saggy XD

My personal opinion: what-freaking-ever.
I can see disagreeing with something that affects gameplay (even if it’s a gameplay change that doesn’t bother me personally), but this is just asinine. The complaints about the grunts and Cortana’s appearance are just bottom-of-the-barrel nitpicking. It’s like a Trekkie complaining that a new version of the Enterprise has the wrong font for the ship’s name (and I consider myself a Trekkie).
Someone should create a topic like “New Cortana design breaks canon”
On another note: What’s up with that HUD? Does it now display objectives and stuff?

They did this On purpose For a reason
The graphics look amazing has anyone noctice thats most likely not a cut scene because of the Hud and first person.

AIs choose their avatars. There is no rule that says they must be semi-transparent or keep there avatar forever.

I myself don’t necessarily have a “screw canon” mentality, but I’m also not the type to hold it as sacrosanct. As I said, I am a Trekkie, and I am often embarssed by my fellow Trekkies, who can sometimes be way to hung up on canon for their own good, as if changing the font for the Enterprise name & number on the saucer section is some sort of unforgiveable sin (rather than a small aesthetic that doesn’t change anything
beyond simple appearance).

My response was more in general than directly to you. There was a thread made awhile ago discussing why she was solid.
