WITH HALO 6 being 2018, Will HALO 5 stay POPULAR?

Hello everyone, I have a question to ask. With Halo 6 bing released in 2018, probably (I mean it could be pushed till 2019), do you think Halo 5 will remain popular and relevant? Do you guys think Halo 5 is a fun game to watch for let’s plays and etc?

Which I think was fun to make and I hope people enjoy it but when making it and posting it I realized, as I’m sure many of you have, that most Halo videos now days are videos involving thought provoking and contemplating ideas and discussions rather than just for pure entertainment and fun. I know every game has a lot more of the fun side when it is first released and then after it becomes an older game a lot of that goes away but it still feels like a lot of other games out there are still able to have videos and even entire channels that are dedicated to just showing off let’s play and more fun videos involving a game but halo is mostly absent from these.These are just my thoughts and realizations but I maybe entirely wrong so of course let me know. I think a couple of things maybe the cause of this

1. Halo 5 is too competitive
2. Halo 5 SP was the worst by far and brought significant backlash
3. Halo 5 MP, while fun, is so drastically different from the rest of the series, it feels like a mixture of Call of Duty and Unreal

Like I said please let me know your thoughts on this and let me know if I am wrong! With that said though also comes one more question and that’s whether or not you think Halo will stay relevant in the industry until Halo 6 comes out? With no new Halo game coming out this year, which can be both good and bad, Halo’s name will fade even more and it is not like Halo 5 left the series in the most popular spot. If you do think it will stay relevant how do you think it will? If you think it is good that it will stay under the radar for a while and hopefully make a big surprise at next E3 with all the feedback accounted for, do you think that will help the Halo franchise?

Personally,

I enjoyed the community aspect of H5. 343 Released some amazing tools such as advanced forge and a customers browser, which has made it so easy to find a game.

In terms of the Warzone aspect, I like the larger lobby sizes, but the servers are poor and too much emphasis on Req’s. I found the singleplayer cool in some place, but mainly dull and boring.

I guess I’d like 24 Player Custom Games, and a return to the more human style of Halo Reach for the campaign.

Unfortunately H5 Is slowing dying.

This is kinda expected for a game that had a series of harsh reviews post-launch, and has been out for 1.5 years though. Not only that, but it’s been shown that the regular updates of old have slowed down significantly, and those were massive population upkeeps.

It is what it is, sadly, but I think the next installment will go swimmingly.

To be honest Halo 5 is a ok game but when Halo 6 drops people will go straight to it I guess it just depends on Halo 6 if it great people will stay hooked if not then people will go back to Halo 5. In my opinion I will still be playing both games tho. :slight_smile:

Yeah I agree, as a longtime Halo fan I really hope it goes back to the roots somewhat! The series shouldn’t forget where it started.
