We can do almost literally anything. My first map involves a giant bomber plane with rotating propellers on the wings, like a Vickers Wellington. After that…spaceships strafing each other? UFOs with green cone lights on the bottom flying around? Enormous mining drills with a spinning drillbit? -Yoinking!- trains?
Isn’t it funny how all of the butthurt people are complaining about the “messed up controls” while all of the actual good Forgers are making insane new maps that would be impossible in any of the other games?

I cant believe some people are whining that the new forge is too complicated for them. I got used to it in 30 minutes. Basically people are mad that forge is better now. Smh. 343 couldve saved their time and used the old crappy forge, but they went and put effort into the new forge in every way
If people would take their time to learn the new controls, they could build awesome stuff.

I can see why people would be upset if all of a sudden the controls were upped and changed.
But speaking as someone who rarely (if ever) forged in the past, this is so easy to use yet so powerful! It will just be a case of getting used to the controls again and who knows what sort of awesome stuff you can create!
Let’s stay on topic, even though I agree with you guys.
It’s about time we finally got Forge 3.0. Now the floodgates of possibility have opened.
What things can you all think of to make?

The controls in forge were up and changed. But its been years since the last time forge did anything new, so i welcome the wealth of options

Racetrack with huge loops (how creative i know)
I have always loved dynamic maps. In Halo 5 I’m thinking about making some sort of map that has an event that causes a giant landslide covering and changing the terrain of that part of the map.

I know what you speak of. Maps that DO something are awesome.
So… how can I weld things? No one seems to explain it very well.
Select the items with RB, hit X, object properties, weld.
Woah how’d you make propellers?

Make something that looks like a propeller, weld it accordingly, and animate.
Do I have enough room to remake Speed Halo 3.0?
A little issue with propellers: sometimes they go off-center and fly away.
Anyone know how to use the animations in breakout. I tried cameras and shot matching, but i cant see the team animations and I want them to look at each other.

Wow we had the same idea lol. I’ve built a Speed Halo map on Glacier (Barely fit due to the ridiculously low skybox) The map is good, all it needs is Infection, Gravity Hammers, and gravity volumes, since even at -49 slope, the vehicles still have too much traction, which makes them go much slower, and not as chaotic as Reach
