I mean that if you have a faster internet, you have more chances to win 1v1 battles?
Not really. If your internet sucks but your good at Halo, and the person you are fighting has fast internet but sucks at Halo, you probably still have a high chance at beating them.
No. It’s mostly the better player who’ll win a 1v1.
Depends. I like to think I’m somewhat above average but throw some lag into the mix and I do as bad or a bit better than some of my teammates
I wouldn’t say it makes you a better player, but having a faster connection and low latency and etc etc will definitely give you an advantage (it may be small but definitely there) in some situations.
I have been saying Halo is 50% skill and 50% connection quality for over a year now. I constantly have to 5 and 6 shot people in the head due to distance from servers and a poor connection. I’d trade some skill for headshot registration any day…IMHO.
2 players of equal skill? Yes, internet makes a difference.
But it doesn’t separate a trash player from being the next Frosty
I kind of feel like connection is only a real difference maker for people playing at the high end of the skill tier. Microseconds can make the difference for them, but for plebes like me, it’s not as big as an advantage one way or the other.

When you say faster internet do you mean a very minute difference which is almost unnoticeable or do you mean one person is teleporting around the map without any control and the other is connected just fine. If it is the first situation then the better player will probably still win but if it is the second option then the one with better internet will win.
I cant believe people actually believe what they are saying. Connection makes a huge difference. Huge! If you go to a forum post I made on forge plays thread about balanced not taking into account skill, you will see why.
