I’ve been a dedicated Halo fan since the very beginning, I own the highest editions of all the games and own some of the books. Here’s what I want to see happen in Infinite:
(in no particular order)

If having 2 different player characters in the campaign, give equal time for both of them. Don’t pull a Halo 5 move, instead pull a Halo 2 move.

Don’t employ people that “hate Halo”. I heard a rumor that a 343 employee said they hire people who hate the series. Not sure if confirmed or not.

Link the story of Halo 5/Halo Wars 2 together

Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris (in terms of gameplay mechanics) were great. Ordering your allies to attack an enemy/pick up a weapon where a welcome addition. Keep that going.

Returning to the classic art style is also awesome, keep that going.

Don’t have a disappointing ending. I literally said out-loud "What the **** " after the end of 5. The ending style of Halo 3 was perfect in my opinion.

SPLIT SCREEN! Bring it back!!!

Don’t make me pay $250 USD for the highest edition of the game. Keep it affordable.

Bring back UNSC Marines/Army troopers as allies. Try to expand the role of the UNSC Air Force/sea Navy if possible.

Bring back playable Elites in multiplayer. Also bring back the Drones/Prophets/Brutes/Engineers as campaign enemies.
I have very high expectations. While Halo 5’s multiplayer was awesome, the campaign (story line/plot) was a let down. Don’t disappoint me 343, thanks for reading this.
