Yeah I hope they add a way to replay missions as well as progression and challanges.
I mean lore wise they could just add one of those hologram tables to the main fort where we can replay them as simulations and tweak things as well.

It would be awesome to have a banished scarab, I miss the mantis and the falcon, I hope they come into Infinite at some point.

Yeah Especially if it is the blood fuel scarab as I can see the gameplay of that fight. you have to destroy the 4 fuel pods on it, then board it before blowing up the worms inside.
The fact that the banished have 2 types of scarabs means we have potential for 3 different vehicle fights one for the standard covenant one, one for a standard banished one, and the bloodfuel one.
My hope is that future updates add new islands with different biomes to the game.
For enemies we know the flood is on the ring and I would assume the Prometheans didnāt all just die without a leader seeing as they didnāt really have one between 4 and 5. More so it would be very interesting to see these 2 against each other. We know the Prometheans were used to combat the flood. This would also be a great way for the Promethean weapons to return which I miss.
In terms of vehicles I agree with op about the falcon returning. It would be great when co op arrives. I also want to see the mantis again as it was an amazing addition.
I have enjoyed the base campaign and am eager to see what is to come.
PErsonally I think we need the following 3 mechs.
Mantis: UNSC mech, has shields, ability to jump, Minigun, and AA rocket launcher.
Grunt goblin: banished only mech, heavy needler, plasma grenade launcher, halo 2 era hunter cannon.
Locust: quad walker that can climb anything, has a heavy beam weapon and a shield.
A realization hit me, the Infinity has sanghelli and engineer crew members so we might be able to have them just on that.
The only thing Iād like is reduce how much Banshees harass you. Like Iām in the endgame just mopping up collectibles, flying around exploring, whatever⦠Banshees will chase you to the end of the Ring just annoying the ever living -Yoink!- out of you.
Heaven forbid you so much as look at a banished base, regardless of whether youād completed it already or not. Guaranteed 3 Banshees chasing you now.
Doesnāt help that the banshees are tanky as hell against wasp projectiles while any other explosive one shots them.
Very valid. Although, I can still imagine āGet X kills via X methodā challenges and those would be better than nothing.
Iād like to see a story about our custom multiplayer character that connects to the main story because if you play the tutorial it shows they have a potential story for your custom spartan
Yes, I want an upgraded repulsor that at level 5 has multiple charges and shocks enemies. Hard counter those brute zerglings.
I agree with all the above suggestions - big time interested in having a score board with par scores and times for the more mission related components that are more linear. And of course co-op.

āAllied Eliteāsā nah bring back allied aliens who sided with humans and elites after prophets were exposed. Imagine two hunters hunkered in the back of your razorback. Grunts and Elites who want their brothers blinded by false faith to fight for a unified space against outward threats such as forerunner shenanigans or say another flood like threat.
Halo war vehicleās, imagine special mission where you operate the weapons of a vulture to clear a heavily fortified base. Flying along a route for one linear story event, imagine a heavier armed ac-130 (yes cod inspired but with a twist.) Imagine Reachās mission where the warthogs and falcons are charging, but because of limited resources your using the vulture as a ram to lead the way, killing scorpions, artillery, enemy vehicles etc. Eventually getting disabled and having to crash land. The large ship becoming a fob of sorts to push the ground assault from.
The treaded motorbike, power armors inspired by halo legends that mega construct made as actual things to turn the tides.
Bring newer mantis units in showing slight progress from their earlier designs. Maybe its maneuverability in top speed have been improved but because of how fast it can go shooting is very difficult with the Gatling gun. So you pretty much have to shoot and move, hit and run or learn the control the recoil.
A power weapon version of the saw, holds 125 rounds, your speed is lowered but its accuracy and damage output make up for it, due to its high fire rate you have to manage its heat, if it overheats a slower barrel swap animation instead of a reload.
Co-op twist, play as multiplayer spartans and an option that lets you choose from none Spartan UNSC units with their own loadouts, abilities and draw backs. Because they arenāt augmented thereās fall damage, slower, not as strong. They either respawn instantly, or under reduced timers to make up for this.
Marine- loadout consists of any ar platform, sidekick and frags. Lowest armor of the choices, instantly respawns further back. The trade off is their fragility, even if they were the last one standing youd have to fight tooth and nail to live long enough for friends to respawn. Has a repair tool they can fix vehicles, turrets etc with so long as they arenāt destroyed. Or ammo reserves, a placeable duffle bag of most human ammo types. Maybe for lols if the hosts gives you a gun it has unlimited ammo until you drop it or die?
Marines Marksman- Starts with a br, or Commando start with sidekick. Everything else is the same.
ODST- has more armor or the quasi shield mechanic from ODST game. Has a delayed respawn, if in the open world you start in a drop pod with semi controlled landing. Maybe an achievement for landing on an enemy, a vehichle and killing something with the doors explosive bolt exit? Default ODST have an actual stealth mechanic, where they draw less agro if seen, if not seen they can stealthy take enemies out from afar with silenced ar/smgs, silenced sidekicks/magnum. Have grappling hook, jump packs, and reduced fall damage. Instead of a weaker melee they have the machete we always seen on difficulty screens but never used, its slower melee and leaves you exposed but rivals most melee types, weaker than brute weapons and dedicated melee.
ODST Marksman- suppressed BR or unsurppressed Commando, suppressed smg or suppressed sidekick. Throwable sensor, less distance traveled, lasts longer and wider range. If they equip a sniper rifle it becomes supressed for themselves.
ODST shocktrooper- ar with extended magazine or bull dog. Has ammo reserve as an added option. Takes less damage from the front.
ONI- faster respawn then spartan, less then ODST. Spawns via drop pod too when applicable. In SPI mk. III. Capable of complete stealth even while running or shooting, but the more complicated the action the faster it drains. If completely drained it takes longer to recharge. Supressed ar, no added zoom, supressed smg with zoom. Supressed magnum/sidekick. Less fall damage like odst.
Allied Elites, ODSTs, Driving marines, All the missing banished heroes and units (GOLIATHS PLEASE), and a scarab fight.

Basically 343 can pull a classic 343 move and outsource Ubisoft to make a Co Op AI Spartans. Maybe make a mode where you use your multiplayer Spartan. And have 3 other AI Spartans that you customize with your Cosmetics.
Literally just copy Ghost recon Breakpoint where you can turn the AI on and off and even set the number you want following you around

Iād like it to be an actual open world game and not just a bad halo campaign with standard cookie-cutter AAA āside questsā and haphazardly placed āsecretsā everywhere in between.
apparently Hyperius killed him, propaganda tower has a line for it.
Yeah I saw that but something a bit more solid than a random voice line (that is apparently part of the IWHBYD skull bonus dialogue) would be nice. Like a cutscene or even a playable flashback
