So we have the Heroes of Reach season going on. Which is about Mark V (B) armor cosmetics. Dedicated to Halo Reach, right? Cool, cool. That sounds nice.
Now we have a winter event called the Winter Contingency. Oh cool. That’s what the first mission was called in Halo Reach! And it has winter! How fitting that’s amazing!
Also it was military doctrine in case Reach was beset by the Covenant. Hence why they Carter drops that voice line at the end of the mission. “Come again, Spartan? Did you say Covenant?” “Yes sir, the Covenant are on Reach. It’s the Winter Contingency…” “God help us all…”
All very cool, very fitting. I like the feel… But…
WHY THE HELL IS THE WINTER CONTINGENCY COSMETICS NOT ON THE REACH ARMOR CORE?!?!!
