Winning a game is an incredible feeling now

Here is my game history from playing tonight:

  • [LOSS] BTB CTF: 39 kills and 5 deaths
  • [LOSS] BTB CTF: 14 kills and 10 deaths
  • [LOSS] BTB Total Control: 19 kills and 16 deaths
  • [LOSS] BTB Stockpile: 9 kills and 4 deaths
  • [LOSS] BTB Total Control: 0 kills and 4 deaths (quit)
  • [WIN] BTB Total Control: 13 kills and 10 deaths
  • [LOSS] BTB Total Control: 12 kills and 6 deaths
  • [LOSS] BTB Slayer: 13 kills and 11 deaths

How is this fair? I make a thread about this every night I have a losing streak (which is basically every time I play) and I’m sick to death of losing all the time.

Why do I always get the bad team mates that don’t know how to hold a controller properly? I’m sick of baby sitting stupid people that can’t play the game.

I always get the scrubs, meanwhile the enemy team gets pros EVERY DAMN TIME. Team balancing is the worst Halo has ever seen and it’s no surprise 343 can’t figure out how to make it fair.

lol at the flags…

If your relying on the matchmaker for teammates, there’s only really so much it can go off of when trying to pair you with teammates. There’s so many factor it simple put, can not read, it’d have to read your and everyones minds to determine that. It just can’t compete with you picking your own teammates.

I’d also recommend not taking social too seriously too. You can probably prevent a lot of the frustration if you can at least do that. Wins and losses don’t matter in social, just play and do what you can to contribute.

had the same problem till I realized I was the problem. the trick is to not count on your teammates at all. its just you and the objective, nothing else matters. ofc keep an eye out when your flag is totally undefended or what your teammates are doing, but as a general rule you need to always push toward the objective. as soon as you have more points than the enemy team, play defensively.

it may sound stupid but now I win most of my BTB matches.

Just do what you think is the best way to go and if you manage to be in a position where a teammate may happen to provide some support or vice versa, go with it.

Just had a CTF game on Deadlock where the team and the enemy were fighting over at our flag at one side of the map, snuck over to their flag, grabbed it when I happened to have one or two teammates nearby that were shooting at what enemies were there, and sprinted all the way back to our base with it to cap it.

Same with any CTF games on Fragmentation where I’ve gotten quite a few solo Razorback captures to win us the games :stuck_out_tongue:

Its less about working with teammates and more about making the best use of the situation as you perceive it - including teammates

Dude it’s BTB, you control very little in this mode.

If your team is going for objectives: follow them
If your team is big dumb: go for score

That’s how it’s been forever.

I mean, going in without a stack or LFG group is basically you telling the matchmaker to take the wheel. And let’s be honest: it isn’t a very good driver.

Its quite rare to get wins in this game…especially when queuing solo in 4v4 playlists lol.

Que solo in any other previous halo and you have a chance…

Que solo in Infinite…no chance.

343 needs to rework their system.

I must be unlucky af because every game in MCC is filled with sweaty hardcore players. Especially In Halo 3.

This is what it feels like in any game with strong sbmm, but halo is somehow worse than others…

they want win challenges to be harder and to force to create a team and to train as a team. halo infinite isnt for fun. its for training and doing your chores

chores being weekly and event challenge

Well…thats because i am a halo veteran of previous halo games lol.

But im talking about previous halos released in their own time frames, you had a chance to win.

Not counting mcc. Halo titles on their own.
