Windows Store is painful when it comes to updates. I have been trying to download for a really long time now. This is getting really annoying after every update.
Try deleting and reinstalling your account again. This problem happened to me.
if I were you I would request a refund, this game is not worth it. I am a big halo fan and that is my opinion. There are no/ not many pc players
