So I got the download link that leads to the Windows store for H5 Forge and then it won’t let me download it because I have less than 2gb of video memory. However, I checked and I have 3gb of video memory. Help?

This guy ^ its not out until tomorrow, around 2pm UK time is the norm that I’ve noticed (6am Pacific, 9am Eastern)
Check again tomorrow, but get the latest drivers for your video card. It might help for the detection.
wtf… why is this game preventing me from download and install just because i dont meet minimum requirements? i have the witcher 3 yet dont meet its minimum requirements and was able to tweak the games files to make it run at constant 30fps… this is dumb.

I figured it out! You get the bundle. Like, not the specific halo app, what you do is, you open the page for the bundle and click the top-most download button for that and it’ll figure it out for you. What a mess.

Bundle? What bundle?
Ahhh i’m having the same issue. The store still says its not available yet…
Search for Halo 5 in the store and you should see this:
It’s the bundle you want, not Halo 5 itself.
Click the download link at the top that you’ll see on the bundle’s page, and it’ll let you download both the Halo app and Halo 5.

I’m not seeing it. If I search for halo 5, all I get is movies and music. Though the suggestions box shows Halo 5 Forge, but that page just gives me the “not available yet” message.
It’s not letting me search apps and games.
Checked twitter and apparently the windows store is down cause everyone is trying to downloading it… the app is barely listed unless you search for it…
When I search for Halo 5 there are no apps even in that name listed.
Maybe you guys need to restart the store or something? I dont know. Honestly this whole thing could have been managed way better, but there have been worse launches. Let’s hope they learn from their mistakes.

oh i see the bundle, yes it let me download and is downloading both Halo 5:forge and some APP.

Just type on Search Halo 5 and scrool down until see in “Game” tab Halo 5:forge and Halo 5:bundle
Edit: for people who cant see the app, make sure you have the Anniverssary update and the Store app updated

Note that Windows 10 Anniversary Edition is required for the Halo 5 app. Searches on the store won’t even show items that don’t meet the Windows minimum version requirement of the game/app.
Yea just noticed that! You need the windows 10 anniversary update in order to download it. Makes sense.
So I have to download and install the Windows update, and then download and install BOTH Forge and the App? Ugh… There goes my internet for the day…
