Hello! Issues reported below have occurred in February 22, 2017 (Day-One Patch) game update which hasn’t appeared previously before the update has been installed. I will update and inform for any occured issues. I will also confirm and attempt to reproduce bugs or issues to help resolve the current situation.
Computer Specification
PSU: 1000 Watt EVGA SuperNOVA G3
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K Quad-Core 4.2GHz
MB: ASUS Maximus IX Hero
GPU: 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition
RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2800MHz (4 X 8GB)
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (Can’t run Halo Wars 2 without WIndows 10 :D)
February 22, 2017 (Day-One Patch) game update for Halo Wars 2 on Windows 10 is causing game crash. The crash happens when you finish a Single-Player or Multi-Player match (It occurs after every match you have played, meaning that 1 match means 1 crash. So if you have played 10 matches, most likely you have experienced 10 game crash). Such as, Skirmish, Firefight, Blitz, and Etc. As for Campaign mode, the game crash only occurs when you exit after finishing a campaign mission. Doesn’t accord a game crash if you continue to another campaign mission as long you don’t exit. The game will crash after you have completed final mission after the credit which takes you back to main menu. Won’t reach the main menu due to the game crash.
Also to note: Every time you start Halo Wars 2, there a decent amount of time (30 seconds to 1 minute usually, depends on the person computer specifications) of black screen before the Ark loading symbol appears to take to you to the start menu which I think you guys noted the issue as a known issue (I think). Despite that, you can still here the start menu soundtrack in the background. Keep up the great work!

EDIT 1: I think this can be considered as minor bug or just visual effect problems. The cloaking particle effect of Banished Shield Generator Tower which shrouds the base with a red thick (Depends on what color scheme your been selected) outline around the base won’t reappear or loses permanently visibility after being hit by enemy fire or after not viewing the base for while (usually around 1 minute to 5 minutes, can take a longer time to occur. For me, can’t apply this for everyone). As always, Keep up the great work!

EDIT 2: This issue is minor (Could be a common small issue for everyone, not sure). Every time you start up Halo Wars 2 (This issue happens randomly, it’s have a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio of occurrences for me. Depends on the person computer), the game settings of “Full Screen” fails to apply and sticks to “Windowed” despite the game settings set to “Full Screen”.
Possible Fix: Reapply “Windowed” mode in the video settings and return to “Full Screen” mode. You have to APPLY “Windowed” mode for this to work.
