Every few times I try to load the game my PC crashes with blue screen with a description that says PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. My computer can reboot fine, but my settings in the game are reset, not to mention it screws up my Steam agreements with all my steam games, and I have to go through the licence agreement screen for everything again. Very annoying. Is Anticheat not up to date or something? I have no idea how to troubleshoot this issue.
Hi, try checking the integrity of gamefiles
Right click on MCC, click on properties > Game files > check integrity
Let that run and download any files if needed. You can also check your Windows Event viewer to see which .exe actually caused the blue-screen.
Can you try launching the game without your Antivirus?
I can do those checks myself, but how would I go about checking the event viewer? The normal info dump folder in Appdata according to Halo Support is empty, presumably because the crash was a system crash and not just MCC.
