Win the firefight war zone

Which is the best vehicle or the best weapon to win the firefight war zone ?

It’s kind of a situational thing. You have to use different tactics depending on the boss/objective. I.E. A wraith would be pretty great to take out some Knights, but a poor choice against banshees or phaetons.

Wraiths, any variant really, are the best IMO. Can easily splatter the smaller AI and can easily reach most bosses in the bases. Turn on wheel man also helps. I use the anti air wraith usually and rack up kills with it. My best game was 168 kills.

All right, I see, thank you, I am going to try the wraiths and inform you

Actually it is rather funny ahah !

Thank you for your advice

168 that’s pretty impressive. I believe mine is in the 150’s, i would have to go back and check

Tank. Beats. Everything.

Yeah, pretty much this. If you play enough firefight, you’ll start to figure out what the best req for each round is.

For example, Ultra Banshees with the Wheelman perk are typically pretty good for the ‘defend the spires’ mission on Wave 5, for Attack on Sanctum.

Yes! Just yesterday I was in that exact situation. I had my Ultra Banshee with Wheelman on that round and I was flying around killing the enemy Banshees and Wraiths and Hunters, and splattering the Elites that got dropped off on top of the building (I ended up dying because of the stupid jackal snipers and annoying Ghosts, but not before causing plenty of mayhem). In fact, because of their mobility, firepower, and splattering ability, I would say Ultra Banshees are one of the best reqs for almost any round you can get them on.

I feel like saying a few words about that round in particular. Round 5 “defend the thing” on Sanctum is possibly my favorite round in all of Warzone Firefight. The enemies aren’t hiding in buildings where vehicles can’t get them, players are able to call in their best reqs, there is no shortage of enemies and enemy vehicles to kill, and you can do well with almost any heavy vehicle because there is plenty of space for them on the map. Also, no bullet sponge bosses. That round is the perfect example of what firefight should be. I wish there were more rounds like it.

OP, if the round 5 bosses are in the home base, then use a Wraith. You can use a Scorpion, but it’s difficult to hit the elevated bosses. The exception is on Prospect because the bosses are in the home base, but they aren’t on the elevated platforms.

It’s mine as well. It’s one of the rounds that actually feels like what Firefight should be. No surprise that it’s also a Covenant round.

Unfortunately, I also think Sanctum has the hardest rounds in FF as well. Round 4 with four Mantises with one in the garage supported by soldiers carrying SAW’s and cannons. After that, you either have the round 5 four Knight Harbingers with one that usually also goes in the garage and they’re supported by Phaetons, Knights and Warthog soldiers, or you have the round 5 two Knight bosses and two Mythic Wardens along with a bunch of incineration cannon Knights. If you’re lucky, you’ll get the four Banshee’s and three Wraiths round.

Yes wraiths are quite useful the temple wraith is my favorite my best game was 198 kills wish could have gotten 200 lol. I don’t really use scorpians since they are pretty slow besides the Hannibal.

Wraiths are pretty handy.

I would say for most missions I would prefer using ghost ultra or temple ghost asap and after losing it switch to those versions of the wrath. But That’s just my opinion. However I prefer a tank when dealing with the warden. And wheelman always.

Yeah, I feel like some of the rounds could stand to have the amount of Knights toned down a bit. Or just not have bullet sponge bosses hide inside of buildings like cowards
