I am max rank and even if the challenges offer me nothing, it is still a fun thing to do in a game that lacks more multiplayer content. That said, 343 asking me to win matches, especially objective matches that i have no control over choosing the mode for myself, is one of the most rage inducing things about this game. Because I am so focused on winning, it only makes me heated when i’m losing in a match and it just doesn’t feel fun at all when I need to focus on winning, especially when you lose in matches because your teammates are garbage. Ranked challenges and win matches involving objectives need to remove from the game. I can deal with winning slayer matches but unless they decided to let me choose an objective playlist of my choice, it should not be in the game.
I am also not going to waste my challenge swaps since getting more at max rank is very hard without having to pay for it, and I am not going to pay money just to swap a challenge.
If you’re talking about the ultimate then you’re not able to swap it anyway.
Don’t forget they’ve also specified it has to be ranked too. Just to annoy even more people for even more reasons completely unnecessarily.
I was mainly referring to the challenge system as a whole. I actually did not know that was the challenge for this week but that is just sadistic.
Could be worse. The 3 challenges i had open was capture 3 zones, kill 10 enemies trying to take over a friendly zone and return 10 flags. So i have been searching Quick Play obviously and need 2 out of the 4 modes, so a 50-50 chance of getting one you would think…
I started searching on wednesday afternoon (CET) and i still haven’t been able to complete those 3 challenges! I had to search 15 matches before i got one of those two gamemodes (chance of not getting the needed modes 14 matches in a row is 0,0061%). It was a strongholds match and i was able to capture 3 zones (completed that one and the new one was 1 needler kill) and kill 5 enemies trying to take over a zone (halfway completion). After that i have searched for hours again, just to get 1 strongholds match and 1 CTF match, but both were against team that where extremely more skilled then my team, so i only got 2 zonekills (7/10 done now) and only 1 flag return (that match was over in about 4 mins because of the complete one-sidedness!). After that again having to search for hours to finaly get a CTF game, only to have it ended by the matchengine before anyone even could get a kill… (and ofcourse on that map it spawned a sentinal beam and not the needler.
This is just extremely frustrating. Why is 343 deliberately stacking the odds against your challenges, this is ridiculous.
