After hard work and the game feeling like a total chore, I did it, I got the mediocre color scheme for my spartan. Now I’ll probably never play again because that was the most horrendous amount of work. The game has gone from fun to a total chore. This challenge and progression system is terrible. Back to Master Chief Collection for me, gonna play SWAT which is actually fun, no respawn timers, where the female spartans exist. Halo Infinite has been a total disappointment.

Yeah I hated the challenge so much, I only completed it out of sheer luck, no challenge should be this difficult, people of all skill-ranges play Halo.

I think in the future if they do a challenge like this again maybe there could be some kind of other objective at the same time, like get 5 kill streaks Or kill 100 spartans total (just a random number). I’m not great at multiplayer games so it took me a while, and when I finally got it I found out it was just for one armor type that I don’t use…

It wasn’t that hard (tho making it fiesta exclusive was a dumb idea).
And honestly, the Willow Tea has grown on me.

The challenges are random for players.
Getting them done can be difficult if you don’t get the right mode, weapon or vehicle.
Not to mention if they’re glitched.

Yep, I got Peerless Warrior which required FIVE multi kills in Fiesta, a mode entirely dependant on RNG to give you even a fighting chance.
Eventually managed to get it done by camping with an Energy Sword on Bazaar

I rather dislike the floral pattern, but honestly i love the rest of the color scheme.
This is the sort of coatings we should expect from the system. Not just blue.

Yeah the challenge is totally doable, but it was a BS Challenge. I don’t think any challenge should force you into playing a certain gametype. I hate Fiesta. I was fine with the event challenges like play a certain number of matches, but a challenge that is purely luck and based on if the game decides to give you decent weapons isn’t ok. 5 Killing Sprees would have been fine had it been allowed in any mode, but it isn’t when it requires you to play a gametype based purely on luck.
Hopefully from here on out they make the challenges better.

I really dislike how they’re gated behind other challenges.
Like I’d gotten 5 killing spees or killed 50 spartans in fiesta already, but had no progress until i’d done the other challenges first.

Its an optional coating. Skip it if you don’t like the challenges. There will be new ones later. Why does everyone think they need everything in a progression system? If you want to collect stuff to play animal crossing. If you want to play a super fun FPS stay in halo
I have yet to complete a weekly challenge. I’m not very good in multiplayer so the challenges tend to be a lot harder on me. For instance, the get two or three killstreaks in Fiesta is probably the worst one. I can’t really get a killstreak let alone two.

Why not. It’s not like we have anything else to work towards. There’s no actual unlocks or real progression in the game. I like to have something to work towards. Infinite is fun, but with the lack of content in the game people aren’t going to keep playing if we don’t have something to work towards. There’s barely any game modes and only a handful of maps. The game is bare Bones. The thing saving it right now is the battle pass and challenges every week.

Ha yeah I feel that. My worst challenges was when I got the interlinked thing for 4+ Spartans hit with one shock and I got it before the challenge was “live”.
Lol. Why do all you kids need something to work towards. Why can’t y’all play a game for fun? Before cod put in the stupid progression system no one complained and people played the games for years.
You do realize progression systems are just psychological warfare to get you to spend more money right? Like it’s basically gambling or the like system on Facebook.

Honestly the only challenge that was at all difficult for me was getting pulse carbine kills because the weapon is so bad at finishing people by itself
