Yes, I believe they do.
I think they do, Master Chief is showing a little more personality than he used to and this story regarding the Precursors, Forerunners, Humans and the other aliens is very Interesting. The created vs the creator theme has been around for a while since Halo 4 so it’s not a surprise that Cortana is doing what she is doing right now. I however do not wish for 343 to drag the story, it should get to the point where everything is building up to before everything starts to look like it’s dragging. What I mean is the realization of humanity as the keepers of the mantle of responsibility.
I’m sure there could be more Halo games in the future even if the big major plot ends, which would help 343 avoid cheapness and would also give us a high quality Halo story. I’m hopeful for the best.
I think they have what it takes to make a great halo game. the only problem is they need to do it.
halo 5 is a great multiplayer game, but i’m still waiting to beat the campaign.
Considering the fact that several at 343 had been working for Bungie, and have been working on Halo from day one, yes.
Yes of course I trust them. They just made the greatest Arena PvP i have ever played before (definitely the better than Halo 2 and quake).
I’m curious as to know where they will take the story when Halo 6 comes around.
Not if they plan to create characters with great backstories that I’ll end up loving and then they discard them, and not if they take away all the diversity in the Halo universe making it nothing but just about humanity.

Not a chance. This is the third and final disappointment that I’ll take. Halo 4 had a great story. That’s all it had going for it. Halo MCC was a disaster. Halo 5 might have a good multiplayer and a functional launch, but the campaign was awful and 50% of the content is missing. It’s amazing how much stuff they had to cut to maintain that precious 60 FPS.
Yeah, so no. I don’t think 343 has the right priorities in game development to produce a well-rounded product.
Am I the only person who liked Halo 5 campaing mode ???
Of course it’s no Halo Reach or Halo 3,but it’s still an awesome game.
I enjoyed Halo-4 and so far am enjoying Halo-5. I think 343i is will continue to make great Halo games.
What did 343 DO WRONG???
The HALO team from Bungie is 343. Some just don’t like change.

No it isn’t. That’s a very popular rumour, but not remotely true.

> Interviewer: So, what sort of percentage of the old Bungie team came across to 343 to work on the franchise?
>
> O’Connor: 343 is almost entirely non-Bungie people. There’s a few of us, but the vast majority of the team is new and from other AAA franchises around the world. It’s a big team, 250-300 people, but very few are ex-Bungie people.
Even as recently as September, he said on NeoGAF that there were “only a few” ex-Bungie people at 343, and that there was “no brain drain of Bungie folks to 343”
Yes, 343 have done a fine job
I would say yes but I think bungie should still make it because they were the original creators of the game
Yes i love the game, just play with what they give you and try to make the best of it, not good for your health to be all stressed about the wrong things.
Good Morning, I would like to address this to any game developer’s reading this as I am extremely upset over the new Halo 5 game. You have asked what could be done with Halo 5, well here is a big kick up the backside. The worst thing you could of ever done is take away the split-screen multiplayer allowing friends/family even couples to enjoy the game together. I have spent over £2500 in total on Halo paraphernalia since the very first game and was so looking forward to being able to play this game with my Fiancée’s, however you took that away, so what you replaced it with a setting called warzone…that still does not replace one of the most social playing settings. I have been following Halo since the dawn of the very beginning game and THE FACT YOU GAVE NO HEADS UP ABOUT SPLIT-SCREEN BEING REMOVED just goes to show that you hold no remorse when you cheat customers out of their money. On Thursday I went into my local GAME store and not only traded in my old console in towards the new Halo 5 console but also paid over £400 for the Console and Limited edition version, due to baby sitting my niece and nephews I was unable to setup game straight away so like a child at Christmas I counted down the days/hours/minutes and seconds until the moment I could play the Game I’ve been waiting for.
Friday night came and their parents returned to which point we came home and setup our brand new Halo 5 Xbox and began the installation. That night all I did was dream about how me and the love of my life were going to enjoy completing another game that I love with a passion, alas this was not the case and instead of being able to play together she had to sit there and watch me play the story on my own. I felt so bad playing the game because I had introduced her into Halo when we first got together 1 year and a half ago. Since playing the first Halo game we have had the perfect plan for our wedding.
Before playing Halo 5 we had spoken to the lady that makes custom wedding cakes and asked for Halo to be added as a decoration into our special day as it would of made an amazing idea and would have looked absolutely astounding…but now, now after seeing that you like to cheat you’re fans out of money by not informing them of one of the most crucial settings that made Halo what it was, has thoroughly got us now having serious thought about it. Why should we give the honour of including a game no Idol I have followed since I was a child in practically the biggest and most Special day of our lives, why should we now when people ask “How good is Halo 5 Guardians”?, that Me and the love of my life should give nothing but positive feedback about a game that in my opinion has been ruined by a company trying to replace BUNGIE. You did so well with Halo 4 not only in story but in multiplayer online play as well, but it feels like you have thrown away what is best for the fans and thought more about what is best for the company to boost its percentage.
Halo 4 drew in more people when it gave people the ability of going around their friends house and going through the campaign working as a team, finding the skulls whilst the other distracts the covenant/flood/sentinels and even the new fore runner technology that was discovered on their home planet. Now you have taken all of that away I have noticed that your ratings have dropped and you have lost more of a percentage since releasing Halo 5. Just to show and tell you how badly your designing of the game has gone over the past 2 game being launched, I will explain below how the numbers have been in regards of the midnight launches;
HALO MIDNIGHT LAUNCHES IN RUGBY
Halo 3 - Estimasted 50 people turned up
Halo 4 - Estimated 35people turned up
Halo 5 Guardians - 5!!! 5 people turned to purchase the new game.
Ill let everyone work out the percentage difference as to me that is a very obvious fact they have lost fans since the game developers changed hands. BUNGIE did extremely well with Halo because they took their time and looked at all concepts of what a fan would and would not want to see.
If anyone knows how I can get in touch with 343 Industries themselves I would appreciate any help going but please share this and let it be known that 343 Industries no longer see the enjoyment factor in a game but instead see a game as a number just as they do their fans. VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH HALO 5.

The fact that split-screen was removed is unfortunate, however you’re incorrect that no advance notice was given. The removal of split-screen was first announced in the Game Informer feature in June, and various members of 343 have discussed it since then. For example, Josh Holmes said here on Halo Waypoint in an official update in July that:
> The decision to remove split-screen support from Halo 5: Guardians was one of the most difficult ones we’ve ever had to make as a studio. We know that for many of our fans, Halo has meant playing together with friends in the same room. We all have great memories of past Halo split-screen multiplayer matches. To move Halo’s gameplay forward and deliver a true next-gen experience, tough choices had to be made. Our decision was driven by a desire for scale, fidelity and focus to ensure that we would deliver the best quality experience possible. With Halo 5 we are delivering massive scale environments, improved AI behavior, increased visual and gameplay fidelity… something that truly takes advantage of a new platform. Many of our ambitious goals for Halo 5 would be compromised in a split-screen setting and the time spent optimizing and addressing split-screen-specific issues would take focus from building other parts of the game. Game development is a balancing act of resources, time and technology, and in this case we made the tough decision to sacrifice something that’s been near and dear to us all.
