People on the Waypoint Forums are far too focused on the Competitive Multiplayer aspect of the spectrum that they fail to see that Community Groups such as ForgeHub continue to flourish because of the more Community-directed aspects of Halo: Reach.
Bungie had created Halo: Reach to be an entirely Community Directed Game with Forge World, Firefight 2.0, Theater in Campaign and a variety of Gametypes and Weapons to support this. Sadly because of the change in motive, the Gameplay Mechanics were changed and adjusted in minor ways (I say Minor because that is the truth, you may argue about how these changes are HUGE) that the Competitive Community did not like.
I’m going to say this. For someone who enjoys darker and much more gripping stories as well as a chaotic sandbox which was the reason Halo 2 was fun for me, Halo: Reach is my second favorite Halo Game with Halo 2 being the first. I hold no regrets or jeers over the game. It is my favorite Xbox 360 title so far and I am proud to play the game.

Halo is serious business, guys.
But for real, all you’re doing with a thread like this is setting yourself up for flaming. If you find a user who is being offensive/spammy, there’s a “report” link just waiting to be clicked. I suggest- nay, encourage you to use it. That does far more good than a post about how other people are idiotic.

i just hope that 343 will do some cleaning on these forums, be cause when i found this site, it was a window to heaven. IT was peaceful, and people were discussing legit problems, and talking about future development, now people just whine like 5-year-olds, and troll like there’s no tomorrow

honestly, people just want the game fixed their way
if 343 listened to HALF of the morons on this site, Reach would have been destroyed, and smashed more than it already is
and to your question, i’m not sure which i like better
i’m better with the DMR, but i’m improving my Carnage with the NR as well
