Arena was bad and Spartan Ops looks like a good replacement for FF.
If the new ranking system and spartan ops turn out to be good then NO
Nope firefight got boring after a while this is a lot better with new maps and different enemies.
I wont miss arena at all and if I want to play firefight I can just pop in Reach or ODST.
Spartan Ops looks a lot better than firefight, mainly because I think we can get more out of it, than just repeating the same mission over and over again.
And dont worry, I wouldnt be suprized if there are firefight esque missions in the Spartan Ops campaign.

Yah i will. I wish they would leave firefight in and just make it for the normal MP missions, and The Arena had A LOT of pottential. They just failed to fully create the Arena that was good enough.

I won’t miss Arena in the slightest.
I’ll be a little sad to see firefight go, but Spartan Ops is a great replacement. It adds a lot of longevity to the game. Personally, I’m always eager to get a little more canon storyline, so I’ll be happily playing every episode as they come out.
I’m pretty happy with the choices they’ve made.
didn’t play Arena much… but I kind of liked Firefight. I didn’t play it much normally, but I loved getting together with a friend in Arcadefight and whooping some Covie butt. It was a great stress reliever
The Arena was poop, and Firefight was only fun in ODST, so having it replaced by Spartan Ops is tons better
I will always miss FFA Arena until it is replaced.

I miss ODST’s FF. That was awesome.
The only thing I’ll miss about arena is the focus on the game. I hope there’s a playlist that the morons of the MM community out. I mean I’ve been in games where the entire other team kills themselves by way of nades or jumping off the map. I never have that happen in arena.
I’ll miss it - firefight I mean. Initially I just did the obvious thing and chose rockets or more usually frg. I hate seeing those weapons in firefight and prefer a more tactical approach now. I will not miss the firefigh maps though; they’re all so one sided. I’d prefer it if the spawning zone was in the centre of the map so there wasn’t some place I could hide out in when they going gets rough.
I didn’t really play Arena, so no.
And I see Spartan Ops as an amazing replacement. Intense, story driven episodic missions. New environments and objectives each mission. And I believe they even said that there would be some traditional firefight-type moments in some of the missions.
