Oh, it’s a lot more then just the lack of content, it’s how poorly the content in this beta is designed. The worst I’ve seen in Halo games.
You think 2 maps a season is a good thing, but there is no guarantee there is going to be 2 maps every season, especially knowing 343 is struggling with their engine just to add basic play list. At least that’s the story they are going with, but who really knows what’s actually going behind closed doors seeing how 343 likes mislead…
Their broken engine at this point literally determines what’s actually going to happen with certain things. You Know, like the constant delays?
The only complete thing, going into season 2 are the 2 new maps and then 100+ cosmetic items ready to sell you.
No fixes for desync, anti cheat, localised search settings.
No co-op campaign, no forge, no firefight.
No mention of campaign DLC.
The only thing they get ready in 6 months, is what they can sell the fan base, who they have starved over the past 6 months so much, they are willing to buy anything.
Again. Nothings complete other than cosmetic items for the store.
That should tell you everything you need to know about where 343i’s priorities lie.
The BP for Season 2 looks great. And it’s effectively free. More coins in my pocket to buy the Season 2 version of Cat’s ears.
KOH is one of my favourite game types. Can’t wait.
Last Spartan Standing is intriguing. Looking forward to see how this plays out.
There are only two maps. That’s a bit gutting after the extended S1 and delay to S2. But at least they look awesome.
Some events. Looking forward to Ninja Swords and Rocket Repulsors. They sound like a lot of fun. Not sold on Vampire Oddball - but we’ll see how it goes.
Is it enough to tide me over to Forge? Fingers crossed.
Just went over the battle pass. Seems kind of cool. Interesting how Mark VII is still on there, meaning I can deck out my Mark VII Spartan more with this pass.
I will admit, it’ll be nice seeing more then the same Spartans over and over again. The new suits look pretty neat, not gonna lie. Not sure yet if I’ll use them over my Mark VII or V though, we’ll see!
Noticed in the Pass for the Mark VII it has shoulders looking like what Chief had for his H4/H5 Mark VI, can’t wait to blend those with the Mark VII Helmet
Still a little irritated that we still don’t know what is happening with the missing Heroes of Reach pieces of armor though. I wish they’d at least give us a clue if they’re ever going to allow us to acquire them.
It’s called UA-Type II-A1 Buckler but the description of it makes it so confusing. Even the shape like is it supposed to protect the forearm or is it a Built in Nokia Brick phone lol
To everyone that is hyped and excited for S2, that’s your opinion, etc but what are you going to do in a month or 2 once you have finished the battlepass and have to wait 4 months for another season?
Yea I will, still hopeful for infinite in the long run. Halo is really the only fps franchise I care about, tried pretty much all the others and just don’t care for them. I’ve played a lot of MCC and original h3 of course, but infinite is the future in theory.
Got 10 gift card from xbox during the spring sale and used a bit of microsoft rewards to make up the difference so I can grab $20 currency for infinite. Thanks to gamepass, I don’t really want or need to buy any new games. Getting those credits back for the season pass will be nice as well.
