I’m not buying Halo 5 regardless. There are numerous design decisions that I’m not happy with, so I’m voting with my money. Until 343industries stops trying to shoehorn gimmicks into a game that is fundamentally incompatible with their new design direction, I’m not going to be supporting it.
On principle alone, no. The online population will probably be peanuts by the time they fix it [MCC] anyways.
That being said, I won’t buy Halo 5 unless some changes are made. It goes without saying I’ll wait a few weeks after release before buying it at best. I want to know what I’m getting myself into this time.

They did absolutely fine with halo 4, i have no doubt halo 5 will be fine.
i feel as though running 4 multiplayer’s at the same time caused a lot of issues. That being said they shousld not have released an unfinished prioduct and should just have held it back if it wasn’t working.
I’ll probably buy H5 2 days after release. Enough time to gauge how the matchmaking works. I won’t be pre-ordering. I don’t pre-order anything now after the Destiny/MCC disaster.
First I have to decide if I want to buy this or not to begin with.
Assuming I do, and the MCC isn’t fixed, I’ll probably go the “buy it used” route, so 343I doesn’t get any of my money.

If the game still doesn’t work when Halo 5 is released, i have serious doubts that ill buy it.
Before halo 4 was released they said they were taking Halo back to its roots. That was a huge lie and Halo 4 failed
Before Halo MCC they said Halo 2 would play just as it did when it was released 10 years ago. That was a huge lie and halo MCC is still broken
I am not buying their BS anymore. If Halo MCC isn’t fixed I won’t buy it. If HalO MCC is fixed I am still waiting to see what it looks like before buying it. I can’t trust them after all their lies and deceit

That was a headline someone wrote to an article where they were interviewing 343I about the campaign. 343I never said this.
Unfortunately, probably. I don’t want to support them, but I’m a sucker. I definitely won’t buy it first day.
Probably, i’m really enjoying the beta…but then again…battlefront 3 is out this year aswell and i’ve been waiting for that game since foreverrrr, halo 5 is gonna have some stiff competition this year, i might leave it a week to make sure its working, then pick it up, already been burned with halo 4 and MCC
ill buy it to play the single player. and i wont buy it from gs or off the xbox store. so 343 does not get my money
If MCC doesn’t work by the time Halo 5 comes out i think Microsoft should reevaluate 343I as a viable Halo creator.
Yes, because I’m a sucker. I’ve beaten every Halo game on legendary difficulty and it would feel wrong to not continue. The core gameplay of Halo is more fun than any other FPS and Microsoft knows this and is willing to ship an unfinished game knowing people will buy it because only they have “the halo.” Plus, I’m hoping for Halo 3 Anniversary one day.
If I was not going to buy Halo 5, there would be no reason for me to keep an Xbox One other than the buggy MCC since none of the other exclusives or upcoming ones appeal to me.
Why would you own an Xbox and not buy Halo?
I’m not buying the game for two reasons. Sprint and ADS, those are my two hills I die on. New email=free month of gamefly. Cancel it when I return Halo 5 after beating the campaign and no one get’s a dime.

Even though I love digital games I will probably wait a few months and buy it used as well from craigslist etc.
I’m still shocked that Microsoft hasnt cleaned house and has left Xbox’s baby in such poor hands.
So given the state of MCC if that isnt fixed and soon I wint purchase H5 as thats ridiculous
Not a preorder option, but I need to finish the campaign without watching YouTube videos. Might give the multiplayer another chance, but the competitive edge is gone mostly.
Halo’s appeal for me is 85% campaign, 15% MP, so yes i will. Not to mention that i have been having fun with TMCC, both campaign and multiplayer.

I have enjoyed the Beta (Even if there are some things I don’t like), I think the campaign will be epic, And of course we haven’t seen whats going on with BtB or Forge yet.
The MCC is a mess, That is undeniable. But it is still a fantastic piece of fan service. And to be honest, I still enjoyed Halo 4 for what it was. Halo 5 is a definite purchase for me.
