Will you buy H4 even if it looks bad to you?

It sounds to me that most people are going to buy Halo 4 no matter what it looks like or if they’re going to like it or not.
So my question to you is will you be buying Halo 4 even if it doesn’t look fun, and what would the game have to be like so you wouldn’t buy it.
Of course I mean once they’ve shown everything about the game.
My overall point with this post is why should 343i listen to your input on a game you’re gonna buy anyway, if it ends up looking bad DON’T buy it show them they should listen to the community.

I would probably rent it, and decide from there. It would take Reach for me to not give it a go.

I know it sounds stupid but yes. I would because Halo is the only true game I know and I really enjoy it sometimes. Heck I hate Reach but I enjoy it sometimes because I chill out and talk to friends while we are playing it. So if Halo 4 does turn out to be a Halo Reach 2, I will be disappointed but I will still get it for the good memories of me and my friends. It is like another user on this forum has said (I don’t remember their name) “Combat is evolving all the time and only true fans stick with it and roll with the punches.”

I think it would be a okay halo game

true fans are the people that love (whatever they are fans of) for what it is, not what it is becoming.

Yes ofcourse. Mainly for forge though. No forge, no buy.

It depends. I have to say Halo is my all time favorite video game series. I need to see these “perks” or whatever they call them in action, and I would like them to get rid of loadouts . Honestly though the game would have to be terrible for me not to buy it.

I know what you mean and I hope it’s not Reach 2, but if it is I think I’m finally done with Halo. The community is great and all, but I just can’t play a new game that’s not fun again.

I love for what it is, I guess “hate” wasn’t the correct word. I still can’t think what the correct word would be. But obviously if I keep coming back and playing games on it whether it is by myself or with friends I like it. I guess you can think of it as a love hate relationship, I may say some things that I don’t mean sometimes but deep down I still like it.

At this point, it’s a rent Day 1, and a buy if I like it.

Only buying for customs, forge, and the campaign.
If Multiplayer is bad I might downgrade to a limited edition.

Honestly if you buy a game purely because of the name you’re a fanboy.

I won’t buy it if there is no forge.

If the game is similar to reach or has perks/loadouts i probably wont buy the game.
