For the hell of it, I decided to ask if you guys were going to a midnight release. And if you are, will you be doing something special or throwing a party?
Me, personally, I’m going to a GameStop down the street. My friends and I are setting up some TV’s to play through Halo 3’s campaign again before we walk to get our copies. It should be awesome!
(Please don’t rage or anything? I don’t know about what, but Bungie’s community can be so unpredictable sometimes :P)
Edit: Did I also mention that I’m super excited to get Halo 4. Like, ridiculously excited. Thanks 343, for making the longest wait ever! :3
Hell yeah, I’m most likely going to show up in my ACUs, to pick up my copy of Halo 4 Limited Edition, and my Halo 4 Xbox, take the two home, get the Xbox set up, my profile moved over to the new Xbox, and start playing Halo 4, after I download all of the stuff.
i planed on it but i currently dont have a vehicle and gamestops bout a 30 min walk and based on all the robery and gun violence ive seen on the news in my state i dont wanna walk 30 min at 12 ish with a $400 console and $100 game

I can go to every minight launch. I can turn up to work whenever I feel like it. In fact, I have turned up to every midnight launch, excluding Modern Warfare 3. For obvious reasons.

I just felt a need to “catch up to speed” with the series of Master Chief. I know that Halo 4 might not really tie-in that much to the previous titles (correct me if I’m wrong though!), but eh. If we have time though, we might just play through the Reach campaign, or try our best to! XD
Oh yeah, I’ll definitely be getting the game at midnight. Then I’ll go home and be the guy kicking everybody’s butt in War Games!* >:D
*When I said “kicking everybody’s butt” what I meant was “occasionally winning thanks to my teammates while figuring out the maps, weapons, etc.” Please don’t whoop me too bad!
I would and could if I wanted but I find I can just order the game online and have it at my doorstep the next day. Seems like laziness but in reality I save time and energy because Tuesday is in the middle of a work week and midnight release would kill me then. So I’d rather just order online and see it waiting for me on my doorstep when I get home on Tuesday.
It sucks knowing everyone will be like 18+ hours ahead of me playing the game non-stop by the time I get to play but oh well.
Last year I went to midnight release for every game I bought. Skyrim, MW3, BF3, AC Revelations, Halo CEA, you name it I was at midnight release. This year I am trying online only and going to compare if ordering online is better or worse than going to midnight release.
