Will the experience you earn while maxed out on one specialization (including Spartan IV specialization) transfer over when you pick a new specialization? Also, if you keep playing games, will that consume double XP matches?
I know that when I chose wetwork, I started it at SR 52.
I ask because I’m at SR60, and I’m really close to getting the monthly, but I would much rather put it towards Pioneer than Operator, once they email the codes.

i dont believe it does. because if you cant earn anymore xp then the xp screen wont come up and thus wont take away matches of double xp
yes it does I lost 30+ double xp rounds because I had them accredited to my account already.
once you hit the credit cap, the credit screen no longer comes up since you can’t pick another specialization (though after last week’s playlist update, my end of game credit screen has popped up from time to time, even though the credits don’t actually accrue).
the double XP codes only get applied at the end of matches and only if you haven’t hit the cap. i would guess, after you hit the cap, your remaining double xp codes will remain until the other specializations are unlocked.

343i released a half -Yoink- game. In which it’s a game trial for those who didn’t buy the LE, by having limited to ranks. The ranking system is going to be reworked and released by next year. Again Half -Yoink- so my point is that this being a half -Yoink- game. When I play most matches it tries to earn me xp and give me it, but being maxed the bar doesn’t move but it wasted all my double xp rounds. Due to 343i’s incompetence. $60 million + in a game and the cant even get -Yoink- right!
Stop Trying to Guess if You Have Not Reached Sr-70 There is No Way You Would Possibly Know.
How it works: Once you hit the daily limit, the codes applied will still be attached to your account…
Meaning: The remaining double xp will continue to be used until gone.
Advice: Apply only so many games of double xp to your account, and then continue the process until you hit the limit. This will help save you some games without burning everything up like some people.
I’ve been stuck @ level 70 for a few days now, but have still been playing, it’s BS if they don’t carry the credits over, as the one guy said, once he chose wet work or whatever it boosted him to 52 right aways… Theres nothing to indicate either way, but I’m just hoping I havent waisted about 100,000 xp…

Why would people deserve to continue getting xp after the daily limit? And it makes sense coming from a marketing stand point to continue burning double xp even though the limit has already been reached. If people really want the double xp that bad, then they go out and by more Mountain Dew/Doritos. In a way it’s genius because so many people end up doing it. Just be smart with how you apply the points.
i’m not sure how you would waste tokens. it only applies double XP tokens when the end game credit screen comes up. once you hit the lvl 70 cap, the credit screen stops coming up so it stops applying the double xp tokens.

No it doesn’t, I played with an SR70 for a week until I decided to buy a specialization code off ebay then once I chose my new specialization I just ranked up to SR71.

Quit complaining that you only bought the SE and have to wait for something that is a part of the LE. You knew that you wouldn’t be able to advance, so that’s your fault. The game is complete, and 343 will release the specializations to everyone eventually. Get over it.
Easy on the “You haven’t hit SR 70 yet” comments, I’m capped at sixty and choose to do so because instead of wasting games played on Operator (which would take at least another week for me), I decided to wait a day or two until we get the specialization codes, and work straight on Pioneer/Tracker.
Thanks a lot to the people who replied about both the xp not transferring, and those who reported losing DXP matches while capped. I appreciate the help, and while I’m sorry you lost them, at least you can know you helped someone else save theirs.
