Seems like every few games there is a release of a new console. Halo CE and Halo 2 were on the original Xbox. Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo 4, and Halo Reach were on Xbox 360. Halo MCC and Halo 5 are on the Xbox One.
Xbox One X sports alot of new features that would make games better so why not right? My questions is this and simply this: Will Halo 6 still be playable on Xbox One or will we all be forced to buy the Xbox One X as we were with previous games? It gets old and the older I get the more I ponder how much longer I will deal with upgrading my systems just to finish a story.
Thoughts?
At this time, and, according to MS, always, there is/will be a requirement that games work on both consoles.
IMO, it would be a mistake to force people to have to get another expensive console just to play Halo 6.
I think it would be fairer to release H6 for the Xbox One but with hefty enhancements for the X.
Well there wasn’t supposed to be any Xbox One X exclusive’s but somehow suspect they will or least make a better version with more content, kind of like how BF4 on 360 had less players in conquest than they did on the xbox one. Plus be pretty strange to not go all out on Microsoft’s new flag ship console.
Well, isn’t the Xbox One X more about making the game look prettier?

Sure but there’s more to game development than just improving texturing…like increasing field of view, etc…
In theory if a game isn’t built correctly on 1 platform it could lead to unbalanced games due to hardware limitations that can sort of effect visual limitations, it kind of depends on the style of games.
