Since I started playing Halo, I always liked having those two options, between the carbine and the stinger rifle, I hope 343 industries put these old weapons that are fabulous and legendary
It probably isn’t going to be in the game at launch, but anything’s possible. I personally don’t think it has a place in the current sandbox, from what we’ve seen.
eh, might be a later day thing. maybe a jackal focused season or something. but i doubt we’ll be seeing it at launch. would certainly need a bit of a balancing adjustment as well considering its…erm…three hit supercombine and headshot one shot.
I liked it in Reach but it was massively too powerful, especially with the bloom reduction.
Stinger rifle? Sounds like a rifle that would be wielded by Drones or something. Hahaha! Can you imagine that?
During the sandbox stream, one of them said they actually liked the Needle Rifle, after being asked what’s their favorite weapon that brought something new to the Halo sandbox. So it’s likely, anywhere from launch to at least the second season.
