Among the things I’d like to see return, including Firefight and Forge as many do I’m sure, I’d like to see the custom matchmaking return. It’s just a fun addition I think.
Maybe it’s just me but I saw alot fo great maps made since Reach, alot of them as enjoyable as any game mode can be. Jenga? A classic, Assassination maps? Not a personal favorite but enjoyable non the less, Ice Cream Man? Tons of fun, zombie chases? Always a good time, unless you spawn 5 waves as zombie…
Halo 5 had multiple types of weapons and vehicules variants making all-around fiesta maps with vehicules something new and pleasant.
We got all those good concepts that are all very fun in their way, and often time more innovative than anything the main game could offer. However we don’T all have an activate Spartan Company, or bunch of friends, or a clan etc… to play those with, or host. The custom matchmaking was a great way to meet people, try those maps and gamemodes and get something fresh to enjoy without the need to find a reliable group or contact all your 10 best chums to get your murder on.
I’d like to see it return. I don’t know if 343i reads those messages or not. Or consider them even, but I though I’d leave a message here in case, or maybe just to see other’s opinions on the matter.
Considering a custom game browser is something the community had practically always wanted before Halo 5 finally implemented it, it would be extremely strange if 343i suddenly decided not to include it in Halo Infinite.
If not at launch, then with the first update. Basically within the time that anyone could get sick of arena and warzone. It would be huge though. There are tons of people who spend more time in Customs than in matchmaking.

Agreed. I think Halo Infinite will offer it at some point.

I guess that’s fair yes. Though I mean, Splitscreen was someone the community always loved, and then Halo 5… (Yeah, 60 FPS I know. Bruh I’d play with 10 FPS if only to play with my pals. Anyway…)

I know, man. Splitscreen is such a huge part of Halo. It’s a real pity they took it out of Halo 5: Guardians. I would’ve loved to play that game with my friends offline.

And you end up that, the buddies you played all the stories with, now you can’t continue together. That is, unless they got an xbox one and the game (or game pass).

That’s why it’s so heartbreaking that the feature is missing from Halo 5: Guardians. My friends can’t afford Xboxes, and so they always play Halo at my house. They were so excited about my purchase of Halo 5: Guardians, but they ended up being so disappointed when they found out they couldn’t play the game with me.

At least they’re bringing it back next game… or so I’m told.

Yes. It’s been announced that every Halo game moving forward will have splitscreen.

Probably because of all the backlash Halo 5: Guardians received.

I don’t think so, unfortunately. That’s not to say it will never happen, though. I don’t know.
