I know we’ll have nearly original versions of Beaver Creek and Prisoner, along with other maps… but what about Blood Gulch - the epitome of Halo Maps?
I heard once that we would not be receiving near-original versions of maps that have been redone already for other Halo Titles, but Blood Gulch is THE Halo CE map that everyone remembers. I will not settle for some newer version that was re-created for Halo 3 or something BS like that.
So, will we have Blood Gulch for Halo CEA?
If not, then what are you smoking?!
I know people have “RE-CREATED” Blood Gulch in Reach via Forgeworld, but it’s not Blood Gulch, it’s a re-creation. You must be gettin’ your swag from 343.
They’ll remake the whole game, but not the most popular map.
If it’s already on the Xbox 360, can it be played from the Reach game disk, or the Halo CEA game disk? No, it can’t, which means they are not allowing us to play Halo on Blood Gulch. That’s not fair.
Why not port over the re-created map? Halo 3 multiplayer is dying faster than the classic playlists, so you can’t say that Blood Gulch is readily available to play Online on the Xbox 360 with the current online community. You’d have to party-up with friends and dust off the old Halo 3 disks, which is not why I paid $40 for Halo CEA.

What part of ‘Blood Gulch is already in Reach’ are you not getting?
> The just need to make some tweaks to Haemorrhage and we’d have a perfect remake. Namely getting rid of those rocks and throwing in a rocket launcher.
Bloody Canyon is a near-perfect remake. I wouldn’t mind that being subbed in for Hemorrhage ASAP.
Most of my favorite memories of Halo are playing with 4 friends, cramped up in my room, all fighting over the bases in Blood Gulch. If they don’t allow us to play on that map, then I will feel extremely ripped off.

Define “already in reach.” Does that mean I can set up a Custom Game and choose “Blood Gulch” as a map? No, it doesn’t (Anchor 9, Boardwalk, Boneyard, Breakpoint, Codemned, Countdown, Forgeworld, Highlands, Powerhouse, Reflection, Spire, Swordbasem Temperst, Zealot), so please tell me what that statement means.
Does it mean I have to download a custom map that someone created in Forgeworld? If so, then everything you have said proves my point that Blood Gulch is not available on the Reach game disk unless you want to play a re-creation that someone built in Forge World. If it is available, then why don’t I have it [since I did purchase the defiant and noble map packs]?
I’ve seen Blood Gulch and Hemmorrhage looks nothing like it. If you remove the bottom base and the lighting it’s just a reimaging it’s not a remake.
I do argee they should bring Blood Gulch back since the REACH version is just two bunkers and rocks
If the map was “remade for the 360” and you can only play it from the halo 3 game disk, then it’s not playable in Halo CE[A], and thus, it’s not playable.
If it’s not playable on the Reach game disk, then 343 has decided that Blood Gulch is not worth allowing Halo fans to play on. That’s not fair. For $40 I expect to have my all-time favorite map, and saying I have to play it on a Halo 3 game disk is crap.
If this is how 343 Industries treats their long-standing fan base who bought every single halo game since the Xbox launched, then you can bet I won’t be purchasing any more Halo games.

The remake of blood gulch is Hemmorrhage, which is a map made in Forge World by Bungie. There’s your remake, you can say it’s not like Blood Gulch, it doesn’t matter 343i has already stated that they will not be remaking Blood Gulch cause it’s already there.
Bungie was going to make a detailed remake with true classic layout and the classic terrain colors.
But they got lazy and decided combine the unique 5 seperate maps they were making into one huge bland map, Forge World.
Which is pointless since the maps all stay within the “map sections” and areas outside of the “map sections” aren’t even used at all outside of customs. There isn’t even enough forge pieces or money to create a good map using more than one “map section”.
> It’s Bungie’s fault.

> So blame Bungie.
I don’t quite think that Forge World is lazy. Its pretty much everything that most Forgers, Custom Game Lovers and Halo Community Creators ever wanted.
Its just that the Matchmaking and Gameplay Community don’t really like it. But that’s what the 7 New Maps are for am I right? To please that audience?
Considering you wont accept what we are telling you, no you wont be getting a Blood Gulch map remake in Halo Anniversary, Hemorrhage is the closest you will ever get to it for Halo: Reach.
