I for one love Warzone and play it regularly to this day.
You all think it was a one hit wonder or will 343 be giving us the next version of it?
I think it will be back at some capacity. They need to work on the map design for the next Warzone. There’s maybe 2 maps out of all of them I like.
Another cool option would be the ability to choose the voice character, like they did in Reach, so we don’t get stuck with Palmer again.
I think warzone was a step in the right direction. It’s very fun. I hope they build on this and don’t completely scrap it.
I doubt they’d toss a money maker, I don’t think it was exactly popular, I can’t recall if they ever bragged on its numbers or even mentioned them but I doubt it did poorly either.
i imagine they’ll try to refine it and make it better, as I said, I doubt they toss a money maker so now they just need to make it more appealing to pull more people into it.
id prefer they ditch it and focus more on BTB but assuming they keep to warzone I’d like to see map improvements from creativity to limiting deadzones and such.
furthermore I think the AI need a bigger role as I think warzone was to pvp focused, it was pretty easy to win while ignoring the AI and objectives. I think they need to make the AI more challenging, put out more objectives that are interesting enough to encourage players to engage with them as well as having some instances be forced where AI engagement is a must for specific advantages and such.
I hope they ditch warzone and bring back Invasion!

I too hope it returns. I would love if warzone, or something very similar to it, is a staple of future halos.

I think it’ll be back, it was a huge success in H5. I just hope they can figure out how to balance the req system better so it’s not so snowbally or do a different system all together.
I want them to bring it back; Warzone was my favorite part of Halo 5. I spent more time playing that than the actual multiplayer.
This is just my raw thoughts: I don’t know. Invasion and dominion only lasted one Halo game. Warzone has more potential though and is tied to their REQ packs so it would make more sense to leave it. Considering the new engine, I would think that we can have much larger waves and AI units. I can see Halo Infinite as the game where any past game mode can meet its potential, be that Firefight, Invasion, Dominion, or Warzone. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Warzone personally, but I would like a 2.0 if they changed it up a lot.
I hope so, my favorite game mode in halo so far but I’d like to see a lot of modifications and maybe some new features
It was not perfect for sure, but do I want it back? Absolutely! I found it a lot of fun even with its flaws. I tend to think chances are good it will be back in some fashion since it consistently is one of the most popular playlists according to 343’s weekly matchmaking feedback threads.
