Will we finally see Jerome-092 meet Master Chief?

Ever since the Halo video games came out, could we finally see both Jerome-092 and John-117 meet each other in the upcoming Halo Infinite? Maybe we can see the two of them teaming up to fight Atriox in the new Halo video game?

If we can come up with a way that the Spirit of Fire got to Zeta Halo, than yes, it would be cool.

That would be so sick. Jerome is almost as much of a badass as Chief. I think the Halo Wars games did a great job showing how skilled Spartans can be.

I really want to see Master Chief, Jerome-092 and Arbiter teaming up in the upcoming Halo Infinite especially with The Banished coming back. It will be awesome to see John-117, Jerome-092 and Thel 'Vadam teaming up to fight Atriox in the new Halo video game.

I have my doubts about The Spirit of Fire or any of its crew appearing in Infinite. It feels more like they’re setting the table for what’s to come in the next couple of games, introducing the Banished to people that haven’t played Halo Wars 2 being their first step. They’ll most likely save the Spirit of Fire, the main Banished force and the like for a later game.

I would really love that to happen, but I seriously doubt the Spirit of Fire or even Atriox and the rest of the Halo Wars 2 Banished will show up in this game, I think the Banished we hear in this trailer are a group Atriox left in the main galaxy as backup if he ever needed it. I also believe that this group we hear believe that Atriox has died, likely due to losing contact with the Enduring Conviction after it’s destruction, and now they want to take out humanity in retaliation, but hey that’s just my take

If the banished are in Infinite, there is a good chance we might see Spirit of Fire make an appearance. Put simply: If Atriox is in Infinite, then Cutter and his team are in too.

This.
Let’s not forget that the Brute who spoke was not Atriox. The voice is higher pitched and he says “We are his will. We are his legacy.” The Banished all hail Atriox, there’s no way he’s talking of anyone else.
For all we know, Atriox and the Banished at the Ark are still in the Ark with the Spirit of Fire. Who knows if the conflict there devolved into a Cold War, seeing how their numbers would just be running thin by Halo Infinite?

For Atriox and the SoF to appear in Infinite, it would mean the Halo Wars series concluding its arc outside of its own games, which would probably rub HW fans the wrong way. I also doubt that the Ark will be a destination in Infinite, and I further doubt that either Atriox or the SoF is in a position to leave the Ark, based on the ending of HW2.

Absolutely agree. Thats why I doubt its Atriox speaking in the trailer.

Well from what we’ve seen the spirit of fire is still MIA along with the Infinity, the rest of the UNSC fleet is destroyed and 07 is shatterd so both the Infinity and the Spirit Of Fire are our only hopes. Both Red and Blue team are our best options but because of the gameplay we’ve seen I doubt we will get more blue team and/or team mechanics in general which means no Red team and unless they use the same portal the banished used to get off the ark and into reach then they will remain on the ark. However I wish that Jerome will become Chiefs successor and we get more Red team in the future like a normal Halo game as opposed to the top down vew

Actually in some of the battles post HW2 the banished got a portal to reach working and have been shipping supplies back and forth so its not impossible to believe that the SoF can go back and forth as well, and I’m sure the HW community would love to see more SoF action along with Red team. It also still leaves opportunity to make a HW game focused on multiple battles on and off the ark.

I mean, to clarify, you mean see them meet in the games for the first time, right? The two of them have known each other since they were six.

I would really love to see the Spirit of Fire in Halo Infinite. It would be a great way to end the Spirits story ark by having it come flying in guns blazing and ram a covenant carrier or something, strewing itself as wreckage all over Zeta Halo. Sadly, with all the milking they are planning to do to this franchise, it probably won’t happen in invite. I mean hell, it sounds like we’ll have to wait till the next game after Infinite to even leave the PNW forest biome.

I think it’s optimistic to expect a Halo Wars 3 at this point. With the Banished now being moved into the mainline series it’s seems like a forgone conclusion to me that eventually Atriox will become a major player in future Halo Infinite stories, either with Chief as the protagonist or someone else for him to face off against. I think overall people would prefer the SoF’s story gets carried forward, rather than forgotten about, even if its unfortunately not in a Halo Wars game. I don’t think they’ll show up in the main story, but I can see a future DLC or side campaign release following red team, with some kind of portal that brings the two conflicts on the Ark and Zeta Halo together.

Best guess I could come up with is that if the SoF is in Infinite, then it’s because either Ander’s managed to get a warning out to someone and they passed the message on so someone could go out and get the Spirit back into the fight. Or someone managed to get the portal open again and the Banished managed to get to Earth with the SoF (which would make sense for why in the trailer we saw what I can only assume is Banished Brutes in London, if I’m wrong then those are likely KotOF Brutes, but I’ll lean more towards Banished Brutes. Even though red is the Banished’s thing rather than blue).

It’s almost secure it wont will happen at launch but i have hope about see this happen in a DLC after-launch, after all, the game will last 10 years right?

343 Industries have to find a way to bring Jerome-092, Ellen Anders and James Cutter to the Halo Infinite main storyline. It will be a huge disappointment if they are not in the new Halo video game.

Agreed. If 343 Industries finished telling Master Chief’s story in the Halo video games, Jerome-092 is the perfect replacement to become the main character in future installments. It will be great to see a series or a trilogy of Halo first person shooter video games where Jerome-092 is the main character.

I was thinking the same! I hope they have a DLC with him in it, or even play as him.

Yeah, but it’s been a year. Halo Wars 2 takes place in 2559. It’s 2560.
