Will we ever see the flag skins for the magnum & ar, or was that buried by 343i?
Pretty sure it got buried, something about a school shooting that had come out around the same time.
IMO I think its been long enough that they can bring them out, it would be a pity if we never saw them EVER…

Maybe we could, though perhaps we have to wait for Halo: Infinite or perhaps we wont see them ever in Halo. Who knows.
Unfortunately I doubt they will ever release them. Hopefully I’m wrong though. It would be cool to show a little Patriotism to your country
I would love to have them. Still can’t understand how nation flags are an issue for gaming. If it is an issue for someone than THEY have a problem that They should address.

They said it might be insensitive to release skins for guns with American flags on them.
Not entirely sure myself how that works but I have seen companies attacked over far less so perhaps they merely played it safe?

That is honestly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. As for playing it safe, just why? Why do they have to cater to the people who get so offended over the littlest things?

Originally the flag skins were supposed to be released spring of 2018 in conjunction with the haloWC regional finals Community Update.
A few days before the first batch of skins was to be released and the same weekend as the Orlando open (HCS event) there was a shooting in Florida.
After those events ske7ch Posted in the forums saying the release would be delayed indefinitely.
Personally I would still love to rock some Canada skins and I’ve been hoarding my req points for months hoping they will be released.
ske7ch is there any update you can give us regarding the flag skins?
I actually wouldn’t mind some flag skin on guns, we have em as emblems in other games.
I’m still down for them, I’d like to know how many more players would be too.

It was never a sniper or BR skin. Magnum/AR.
This would have been interesting, more skins the merrier but oh well the skins we have now are pretty cool.
Maybe in Halo 6 then. I mean, we still have the eagle skin for the AR so

Obviously I want flag camo for every gun…not just pistols and the AR.
