I was just wondering if Halo 5 or later Halo games will ever feature armor effects such as Halo reach’s Flaming skull and lightning effect, It was an pretty awesome edition to the multiplayer gameplay.
Probably not due to the multiplayer being part of the Halo canon now.

This. One of the reasons I don’t like “canon” in multiplayer
IF (and its a big if at this point) they were to return they could possibly be in warzone.
Not likely.
Though the “canon” thing doesn’t really mean they couldn’t have them, since the multiplayer is a simulation they could have all sorts of crazy things in-game that would be excusable as far as the canon is concerned. Hell multiplayer is practically a sport in the Halo universe now, it’s a joke and I’m sure some cocky spartans would love to -Yoink- rainbows in the simulation if they could.
I wish
I guess I’m the only one that didn’t like these then.
Warzone would be your best bet, and even that’s a stretch.
I don’t like them… I hope not.

Nope. They were pretty annoying, especial the grunt birthday party. If they ever return they should come with toggle if you don’t want see and hear them.
I hope not, it took the polish away from armors imo. In halo 3 flame heads was cool cause it was so rare and it was just one. Reach had a few and everyone had it.
