What are the chances of the Flood being in infinite ?
What’s y’all’s opinions/predictions on the flood in infinite?
Don’t expect them to show up in the initial campaign but seeing as how it takes place on zeta halo and that halo wars 2 has had flood dlc, I wouldn’t be surprised if a short mini campaign was released as dlc at some point in infinite’s lifespan.
The location of the game - Zeta Halo, is known for its like history with the flood. I can easily see them being apart of the game.
Well the location is Zeta Halo. It has a rich history with the Flood. Maybe not in the initial campaign but maybe they will return in DLC.
I really really hope so. However I’m guessing the main campaign will focus solely on the Banished and the Cortana storyline.
I think the first big DLC for the campaign will be similar to ‘Awaken the Nightmare’ from Halo Wars 2 and be an entire mini-story adding Flood encounters to the main game.
I’m actually really hoping that the final boss of that DLC would be a flood infected Atriox/Proto-Gravemind thing. Would also be our chance to see some amazing new Flood forms introduced in HW2.
That’s my wishlist anyway! I love the flood and would rather see 343 take time to fully flesh out a full story for them they try to cram it alongside the Banished/Cortana storylines if that makes sense.
I know one thing is for sure - if they are adding the flood, its going to be scarier than ever in 4k graphics

I don’t think we will see them personally, at least in the game at launch. Would make for a great expansion though at some stage.
