Will we be Seeing Blue Team w/o Helmets?

Ok, so, if you haven’t noticed, Spartans have been being shown without their helmets on A LOT.

But after I watched the Halo 5 Opening Cinematic, I realized something: Blue Team has never been show without their helmets on in cut scenes. Now obviously, Chief won’t be taking of his helmet. That was confirmed and, frankly, it’s a bit of a no-brainer. And, yes, we have seen their faces before in Escalation, “The Package” from Halo Legends, and Forward unto Dawn, but never rendered in an in-game format.

So, will we see Fred, Kelly, and Linda’s faces in Halo 5?

Hopefully…the whole “let’s not show his face” bs has gone on long enough if you ask me

They might have a scene where they force Chief to take off his helmet and it pans to black.

I want to say we will, though 343i is likely saving that for release. They can’t go and spoil everything before you play the game.

We’ve seen their faces in Escalation so its no big secret. It’ll probably happen for the non-chief members of the team. But if a good situation for it doesn’t come up, then it wouldn’t be a big deal if they didn’t show the faces.

I would love to see the majority of cutscenes containing multiple Spartans w/ and without there helmets.

I’d rather they focus effort on lighting or other areas because faces would probably be difficult.
Halo 3 to me still looks amazing, I’m no game mechanic expert or anything but I’m pretty sure faces are difficult.

Have you seen buck???

I hope it’s planned as a reveal, in FUD it had an emotional resonance, same with Reach when Jorge showed his face to that young girl. Spartan II’s don’t show their faces very often to those who aren’t one of them.

We will most definitely see Blue Team’s faces. However, at the moment, I think 343 is more concerned with making fans get to know Fireteam Osiris. So that’s why we’ve seen their faces so much.

Much to my dismay

We will probably see everyone at least once, except chief.

Of course we will, they already have faces attached to them in the comics and the Halo Legends. Chief will be the only one who won’t take off the helmet. Also, if they didn’t there would be so much flak as to why it didn’t happen.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t.

Probably at some point but I hope they take helmets off less often than Osiris.Though it will be weird if others take helmets off but Chief does not. Maybe it’s time to give Chief a face.

Possibly, they wouldn’t be hiding anything as they have been seen in Halo 2 Anv. terminal and the comic series Escalation

why not? we’ve seen their faces in other places.

Fred would most likely show himself, possibly Kelly too I mean what’s to hide? Have they become like the Chief.

We may see their faces. I know taking off one’s helmet helps show they are serious or that they are taking a load off. But the Spartan-II’s are more natural in their armor and helmets so I can see where they wouldnt take them off. They don’t need to do that to signify anything because they are already pretty dang awesome. I am glad we won’t see chief’s face though.

I hope not for story purposes. If they didn’t it would be effective in the way 343 wants to show the two teams as different. The S-II’s are closer to one another than they are to the rest of humanity, Osiris is the opposite. Keeping their helmets on would be more than effective to show how different the S-II’s are from the S-IV’s. I vote no.
