It’s cool crossplay is an option, I wish we wasnt forced into it though. Atm I’m finding most joy in ranked against people using the same console and equipment than I can in the other game modes.
I want to chill and relax more on the other game mods but fact is PC is easier to aim on so non ranked playlists have better accuracy more often and in turn making it harder and less enjoyable when you just want to relax.
Option should be available, I wouldn’t have it if permanently but not having the option will really limit my interest as sometimes I just wanna be on an equal level and chill.
Side note: is anyone getting some odd spawns? I’m spawning directly in fire and iv even been “beat down” 1 second after spawning meaning an enemy was behind me as i spawned. Really lessers the experience when I’m getting spawn killed. Might just be unlucky but thought I’d ask

If they allow the option to disable crossplay, I think we would see a large decrease in the amount of players.
Destiny 2 recently enabled crossplay and I’ve never seen so many players now. If Halo Infinite disables crossplay for the social playlist, we would see less. I want more and more players to play with and connect with.
Edit: Yes, I have been seeing some weird spawns as well. Spawning in the middle of a fight, being assassinated instantly etc etc
Well it’s why I said optional, crossplay makes lobbies faster and make it seem like more players. Like I dont mind it and alot of games have it but they also have the option turn them off.
My main issue I just want that equal level field even in non ranked playlists, i admittedly haven’t played a shooter in years so I know I won’t be amazing which is fine but I dont feel non ranked should be harder more consistently than a ranked (I’m diamond something) just feedback though, everyone has their preference and I’d like the option even if I only use it every so often after a long day
Edit: ah okay well at least it’s not just me, was getting a tad annoyed spawning on nades etc. And dying within 1 second of spawning lol
Yes i hope 343i will implement input and platform based options for social too.
It’s even an option in the MCC.

Honestly i just dont want to get aim tracked and only headshotted by unskilled babied console players .

You can turn crossplay off on your xbox via the xbox settings menu. It makes the game way better.
Bit rude, but sure I’d happily not run into people like you. But obviously crossplay works both ways I thought thatd be obvious so I’m not sure what the point of your comment was?
Was it just to throw insults at pad users who are beating you? Bit childish if so.

He’s upset that mouse is easier than controller, especially on infinite with whatever is wrong with the aiming and he’s still taking L’s against people who are struggling to use a controller. Nobody wants to admit it, though. Moment I booted the game up on Steam and played with a mouse, I felt like I was unstoppable. Moment I play with a controller, I am fighting the controller more than my enemies.
For me, Mouse = too easy. Controller = too hard. Can I use both? Sure. But one’s boring and one’s frustrating.
If we could disable crossplay, I can choose to either struggle together with controller users or be on an evan playing field with strictly mouse users.

You sure? Seems to work for me. I haven’t seen any m/kb players that I can tell since I changed it. You have to exit the game too.
Well that’s what every site says, havent tried myself as I play other games crossplay sadly. honestly though I’m just avoiding BTB, seems like alot of weird and questionable stuff is going on in there.
Still sucks I cant always chill against other players on pad but 4v4 seems more fair. I’m not getting cross mapped by an AR or unbreakable shields.
