In the past Halo games you couldn’t adjust the music and dialogue volumes separately. This was a little thing that annoyed me (and still does). Will we be able to do that in Halo 4?
I haven’t heard anything on it, but if I had to guess I’d have to say there won’t be an option to change the volume. Music probably won’t be too much of a distraction though, and there’s always captions.
Hopefully theyll also split brightness and contrast like in CEA. The brightness only thing for Halo 3 and Reach was kind of…limited

I’m fine with the brightness only thing, I can appreciate it since Halo 2 doesn’t have ANY brightness/contrast options and every time I play it I can barely see it.
I really hope they do, that’s one of the nice things in PC games, and some of the Xbox games, being able to adjust the volume.
I hope the volumes for SFX, Music and Voice are all seperate.

Same here, I know some games you can adjust all of those separately, which is really nice, cause I’ll turn the music off, and adjust the voice and SFX so I can hear the voice over the SFX.
I hope they have CC cause there’s a lot of times that I don’t hear what they are saying.
Martin O’Donnell once said something about not having an option to change the music settings because what is Halo without the soundtrack???
The answer is that it becomes only a quarter of what it is in full power. Halo needs its music or you don’t get the right feel. You could always just play your own music then mute it through the dashboard though if you really want to ruin it…

Yeah, and that was before Halo has music in MP. Also, the problem with that is if we listen to our own music, we have to use the Dashboard, and it mutes voices too. And the game is still Halo even with out music, it’s better with it’s sound track, but people can still listen to the sound track.
