343i continuously mentions their apologies and efforts to make sure this game is working, but is that all? Is 343 going to simply fix these bugs and issues and move on? Do they REALLY care about our experience? I’m not trying to start a flame, but I am honestly worried.
I was greatly excited to see Halo 2 come back, and I definitely Favorited being able to play Halo 3 on Xbox One. The problem is, I can’t have my true experience. Emblems have been re-scaled, and with it, many of the emblems people wish to use from the days of old no longer work. The Phoenix and shield background, my personal favorite, and an emblem I’ve used since it was available, was not in Halo 4, that upset me. I was eager to see it’s return, only to be let down again how the scaling ruins it completely. I can’t use MY emblem. On that note, even were I able to, it does not show IN-GAME. That’s a serious disappointment. Almost as disappointing as not even being able to properly customize my Spartan. I had gone through so much to obtain each of the armor variants in Halo 3, I earned my ability to mix and match them how I chose. Now if I want to bear a Mk. V helmet, I am stuck with default everything else.
I am honestly worried that while 343 is “Working around the clock” to fix the game and show they care, they only intend to fix the things that cause issues, glitches and bugs alongside server issues. After that they will move on to their other development projects and forget about those who wanted their true Halo 3 experience.
I also think just about everyone wants music volume settings, but what about brightness? Halo 3, in my opinion, is far to high on the brightness scale, and I can’t change that, it is affecting my Halo 3 experience and I don’t enjoy being forced to play it that way.
343i, please address these issues as well, just because it’s not a bug, does not mean it’s not a problem.
