I’ve noticed other groups do such as Co-optimus and Frag dolls. Why doesn’t Waypoint do something like that?
But it’s the community who decides.
We would end up with way too many people per night.
That’s why you break up the groups and have community leaders run it. Like Ninja Orca takes a group, Elusive Eagle the next, UNSCWarhead after that, etc…
Break it up into time increments as well. Like 1 hour of gaming or something. Could be broken up into timeframes as well. I dunno. Just some ideas to get more people into the WCCN.
Yeah, the idea have struck me in the past, but I’ve never brought it up, because it’s a community effort, and not a Waypoint thing. I guess a mention on the blog could be possible, if we pribe bs angel with some chocolate. Perhaps a popular demand would get them to post it on the “real” Waypoint. Would be great, as it would draw in players for games, and members for the community, as sign-up would happen here either way.
Do we have to do Reach all the time? I mean, we could do other games too…

REACH, 3, WARS, ODST?
I’d say that Reach would be the main focus because it is the newest Halo game out.
Don’t see why other games can’t be included every once in awhile.

BFBC2, blops (Combat training/wager matches with friends is actually quite fun), you know, all those other games?

In my opinion, organic growth is optimal for something like WCCN. It’s brand new, and with anything new, there are small details that get ironed out over time. Adopting a regular schedule, drafting rules and behavior guidelines, having a system for sending out invites, coming up with an agenda, things of that nature. With each festivity, the process gets a little better. As the process gets better, participation will become more regular and increase at a natural rate.

Excellent. A straight forward answer.
Ya never fail to amaze me with your “to the point” style. Thanks, BS.

Or I could set my 360 on fire.
Lol, nah, I love BC2, not much blops.
But yeah, Halo 3 were a suggestion for the previous night, but in all of the updating of the forums, it never happened. I’m all for a Halo 3 WCCN.

for BC2, standard procedure for bringing 4+ people into a matchmade game is to get everyone in party chat, get a squad of 4 in, then have the others in party join session in progress as soon as one of the 4 says that there’s an opening.
8 friends on a BC2 team in party chat = win

Then you’re in luck, cause the next WCCN will be in Halo 3.

You got your Halo 3 back?

Or the one included in the ODST case…
I need to get a new campaign disk or better yet just download it off games of demand. I’ve replaced a total of 5 Halo 3 disks through out about 3 years(I think it was the tin of the LE that ruined the disk).

One of the guys I used to work with has gone through about 5 discs for Halo 3 also. But that’s mainly because he would get mad when he would do bad, quit the game, eject the disc and then throw it like a frisbee out of his house and into the wooded area; never to be seen again.

Hmm…
But that means that he only got mad 5 times, which means he only did bad 5 times, which means that he must be rather good!
