hiya im a bad shot with a controller and have been looking on the net and found a device that you can use a mouse and keyboard as a controller. i also found when searching that treyarch said they would ban players who used the xim3? i would just like to know if 343 have any such policy about using the xim3?
any help would be great.
I own an XIM edge and NO you can’t get banned for using it. Treyarch are talking crap. Microsoft have stated that you ARE allowed to use XIM on the Xbox 360. You are still limited to the turn speed of the game so you can only be as quick as a controller, although you can be more accurate. Here is a little fact for you. The developers at DICE changed the look mechanic on battlefield 3 so it would work better with XIM . The guy that makes xim is in contact with game developers on a regular basis. We as forum members have had quite a few games look mechanic changed so as to work with the XIM. Email Microsoft they will tell you it is absolutely fine with them. So if you get banned said company will have to instantly unban you. XIM don’t make you any better on halo as it has mad aim assist that levels the playin field.
