I won’t go as far as saying that the game has gotten boring, but new content would really help to spice it up. Wether it’s a new map, leader, or simply another skin pack, new content for HW2 would be a blessing.
For the moment, no, there’s just no scope for 343 to do much with the game - Infinite, MCC and Halo 5 sustain are the main focus for now. Perhaps when Infinite is out and MCC has progressed we could see some further work being done, but maybe not.
