Depends on where you go, but most stores will be sold out, for sure.
Very very very doubtful. Those things likely sold like hotcakes, and any LE copies they have in stock have already been preordered.
If you find one on release date your a lucky person,Gamestop,Amazon, and walmart are sold out so that means they will not re-stock that item>its called limited edition for a reason.
I hate pre-ordering games or anything because I hate that idea. After buying 30+ of those games they re list them on ebay and those people make a killing.
Regular be fine with me
Depends on where you live, and how limited the Limited Editions are.
It is possible if a person at the store decides to bail on their preorder at the last minute.

What’s wrong with pre-ordering? You’re not spending extra money or anything like that…
I can’t say for 100% but in the greater Houston, TX area I have always seen plenty of copies of every edition of any game on the shelves on release day unless it was an actual numbered limited edition where they only made x amount of copies and I usually see at least a couple of the consoles as well.
I work at GameStop and my manager always orders more of the limited and regular copies of any game mainly because some ppl will show up on midnight release and ask for one…it depends where you live and what store you go to

They’re gonna be sold like eggs.
But “eggs” just doesn’t have that ring to it.

I live in Columbus, Ohio
To me pre-order just gives them a sales figure on what to expect and cash upfront (at some store).
LE copies of the game is selling out almost everywhere. I highly recommend just stoping in somewhere in the next month and trying to pre-order.
With Halo 2 I walked into a Target on release day and picked up a LE, there wasn’t even anyone else at the videogames section (mind you this was before noon). Fable 3 I walked into a Gamestop on December 26th and picked up a LE no problem.
It doesn’t matter to me if they run out, that day I figure I’m either spending $99 or $85 ($60 + $25). The only thing in the LE I’d like is the advance access to specializations.
