It would be very cool to get a taste of the customization by getting access to customizing our Spartans before the game officially releases this Fall. I came to check back here on Waypoint to see if it already was implemented because the trailer said “Work In Progress Render” instead of pre-release.
I’m slightly disappointed but honestly didn’t expect it just yet.
If you’re a employee reading this, I do have a request that you forward this idea to let us salivate at the game’s custom screen a little earlier than full release.
I’d also appreciate booting the game up with a Spartan that meets my preferences, rather than booting on default and getting all the random emblems, service tag numbers, and strange colors. Then I would have to spend a few hours figuring out the menu to sort. Before enjoying getting my butt whooped by the person who stayed up all night waiting for the exact release moment. If I’m gonna die, and die a lot, I’d like to leave a good looking corpse.

There are some halo toys that u can buy that will unlock a armour coating or armour in the game

There is more information coming about the Waypoint app next Thursday I believe, which will let us customise our Spartans on mobile or on this website. With any luck when it releases (no date yet) we will be able to customise our Spartans straight away.
I’d guess people who join the flights can get a taste?
