I think most of us are in agreement that the graphics didn’t blow us away. Apparently what we saw was an older build, possibly even as far back as January. Even still, that’s pretty far into dev, don’t know if major advancements can be made to the graphics before launch. We do know stuff like ray tracing is coming in an update after launch. With this, and the fact that Infinite is a platform for the next 10 years of Halo, it’s safe to say there’ll be graphical upgrades during its lifespan. However, I am wondering something. I do wondering if there is gonna be a crunch on the devs over the next few months to make the graphics look as good as possible before launch. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen, as it’s a lot of pressure on the devs over the course of months, barely able to have personal lives and such. Though what’d you think is the likelihood of a possible graphics crunch?
I mean with the pandemic and remote work and all… I wouldn’t be surprised. Longer work weeks have already been reported.
With the way the US has lost control of the virus… I’m amazed that companies are getting as much work done as they are.
Fingers crossed that they can keep it up.

I know right. 343 i. has an advantage though over lots of other devs in the form of Azure + xCloud. It helps them work on multiple builds of the game in a single day.
I’m absolutely positive there’s already been crunch, #1 because that’s just the nature of the game industry whether people believe it or not, and whether they like it or not. I’d also really be positive about it for most this year because of the pandemic going on and work at home orders (which I know is prolonging many companies on their work).
